Yes, you read that headline correctly.
It seems that Cam (VIP of the week) is convinced that if he were straight, he and Julia Roberts would be dating. After a waitress on the hunt for tips got flirtatious with him (the "drink-a-doodle-doo" was a dead giveaway to his sexuality, said Mitchell), he wanted to prove to Mitchell that he could pick up a woman.
At first, things seemed to be going well with a woman he met at a bar (played by the wonderful Leslie Mann, best known for "Knocked Up").
But then it turned out that even when she invited him to go to a wedding with her, she was really looking to land a gay friend.
Just to help Cam win his argument with Mitchell, though, she planted one on him. "That was a lot of girl tongue!" boasted Cam.
Also having a good night was Jay, who got over his fear of going salsa dancing with Gloria by learning a few moves from Manny, and showing up at the club at the last minute "high" on Mitchell's drug, known as... chewable aspirin.
While Claire was busy abandoning Haley on the side of the road (slightly more disturbing than it was funny) so she could go through some kind of struggle in her life to write about in a college essay, Phil helped Luke build a treehouse.
Unfortunately, Phil's antics, for the most part, were not as hilarious as they would seem on the surface, though I loved Luke's handy phrase, "Are you, Dad? Are you?" to get out of anything.
The best part of this plotline was seeing Phil's introduction to his longtime neighbor (the equally wonderful Kevin Hart).
I hope to see more of Mann and Hart on the show in the future. What about you? Tell us your favorite parts of the episode as well on iReport or in the comments.
