Amanda Seyfried in talks to portray Linda LovelaceVariety reports that another starlet is considering the role of adult film star Linda Lovelace: Amanda Seyfried. Kate Hudson was previously attached to the biopic, called “Lovelace,” before she became pregnant last year (she gave birth to baby boy Bingham in July). But “In Time” star Seyfried, 25, has reportedly stepped up to star in the drama, to be directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman.
“Lovelace” follows the life of the adult film actress, who's famous for the 1972 porn flick "Deep Throat.” Peter Sarsgaard is reportedly in talks to play Lovelace’s abusive husband Chuck Traynor. (James Franco was attached to play Traynor when Hudson was playing Lovelace.) But as often happens in Hollywood, there’s more than one Lovelace film being made. Malin Akerman and Matt Dillon will play Lovelace and Traynor in a rival film called “Inferno.” Both Lovelace movies are expected to start production in January. Lindsay Lohan was originally starring in “Inferno,” but was dropped from the film last November. "We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support," director Matthew Wilder told E! News at the time. "Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her—and some other issues—have made it impossible for us to go forward." Amanda Seyfried recently wrapped comedy “The Wedding” and will next be seen in the thriller "Gone,” which hits theaters in February 2012.

Ms. Seyfried is far more attractive than Ms. Lovelace ever hoped to be. The fame of the film was all about the deep throat tech. I could certainly see Ms. Lohan in the roll. Not for the acting skills but a closer resemblance to the original woman.
I wouldn't mind watching Amanda Seyfried in some deepthroat

They really should have used LiLo. At 1pm today she had another court date about violating her parole. Plus their are reports she has just been paid 1 million dollars to pose for playboy. Dont know if its true but E! tv has been talking aboot it.
@jillmarie,Lindsay looks as nasty as Linda Lovelace these days so you're right,she would have been perfect.
Should be some very interesting movies. I like that Matt Dillon will be in one, and Amanda will be great, but even thought Lindsay's a mess, she would have been perfect!
