Singer Charice's father murdered in PhilippinesSinger Charice Pempengco, the powerhouse vocalist who's also appeared on Fox's "Glee," has suffered a loss in her family. A rep for the singer/actress tells CNN that Charice was informed Monday that her father had been murdered in her native Philippines. According to the statement, Charice and her father "had been estranged for several years but Charice, who has been touring in South East Asia with David Foster, was hoping to reconcile with him." But in light of the devastating news, the singer has pulled out of the rest of her scheduled appearances and departed to be with her family in the Philippines.
The young star tweeted about her father last night, writing primarily in Filipino but adding in English, "I loved him and I will still love him. He's still my Dad after all." Charice, 19, adds in a statement regarding her canceled tour stops, "I want to thank my fans from around the world for their support and love at this very difficult time for my family and I. We are all very sad about this terrible tragedy."

no, the father never tried to approach the girl. in fact, the wife who was the girl's mom, tried to seek him out and give him money. but the man never showed up and even avoided; maybe out of pride and guilt. the girl's mom even went on television where her daughter sang, and announced on the air - TELL HIM TO COME TO ME AND I WILL GIVE HIM MONEY. he never did.
your father is your father no matter what you may go your seperate way but final condolences are the least you can do give the man at least that. He was murdered taken before his natural time no one deserves their life taken from them that's the ultimate price to pay.

Filipino is supposedly the national language which is basically rooted in Tagalog. Well, it's never spelled "Philipino." As for the story, it's actually sad that the man's sister (CHarice's aunt) had quipped that Charice must be glad her father's gone. So sad, all this family drama
