Trailer Park: 'Ghost Protocol' and 'The Lorax'

Tom Cruise's "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" arrives in theaters December 21, so it's about time we got a more informative trailer.

The clip builds on the scene set over the summer, which began with "ghost protocol" being initiated following an explosion at the Kremlin. But now we know that's not all: the explosion was a set-up, laying the blame at the feet of Cruise's Ethan Hunt and his team.

Now there are only a few members of his crew left, forced to go rogue in order to complete their mission.

Brad Bird directs the feature, which also stars Paula Patton, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg.

The other major trailer that dropped Thursday is the upcoming adaptation of Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax," a 3-D animated imagining of Seuss' story of environmental conservation.

Zac Efron provides the voice of Ted, a boy on the hunt for a Truffula tree in order to impress Ashley (voiced by Taylor Swift). Danny DeVito provides the voice for the Lorax, a creature who watches over and protects the land in danger of being cleaned out to make way for commercial enterprise.

"The Lorax," also starring Ed Helms and Betty White, opens on March 2, 2012.

Within two years, somebody will make this film pitch at a studio meeting:

"It's 'Ghost Protocol' meets 'The Lorax'".

The film will be greenlighted immediately.

Who was the Lorax and why was he there? Why was he lifted and taken somewhere? At the Far End of Town where the Grickle Grass grows, lives the Old Onceler; ask him he knows!

Twas, and still is my favorite childhood story! The Lorax Rules!

Tom Cruise is a has been. Time for him to hang it up. He never could act anyway, the little munchkin.

Idiot, Tom Cruise was nominated for an Oscar for Born on the Fourth of July, Magnolia, and Jerry Maguire. Not everyone lacks talent and a working brain like you. Oh and his last movie made 700M, that's a bit too much for a "has been" who's being pestered by directors to commit to their movies.

I'm not much of a Tom Cruise fan but I love the Mission Impossible movies, too!

"the explosion was a set-up, laying the blame at the feet of Cruise's Ethan Hunt and his team"

    A false-flag. How original.
