Dennis Quaid lists Montana ranch for $14 millionAre you in the market for a lavish ranch in a remote mountain region? If so, you might want to check out Dennis Quaid’s giant country compound. According to The Wall Street Journal, the actor has put his Montana ranch up for sale. Quaid’s 418-acre property in Big Sky Country is listed at $14 million. The ranch is located in Emigrant, Montana, near Yellowstone National Park. The property includes a 5,300-square-foot main residence, plus four guest houses, and a home for a ranch manager. Plus, the ranch boasts horse facilities, two ponds, historic gold mines and fishing along Six Mile Creek.
The ranch isn’t even Quaid’s main abode – that would be his home in Austin, Texas. The actor tells the Wall Street Journal he’s selling the Montana ranch to move to Hawaii to pursue a new hobby. Or as he puts it, "the new love of my life, which is surfing." Emigrant, Montana actually has more Hollywood ties than just Dennis Quaid – the movies “A River Runs Through It” and “The Horse Whisperer” were filmed there. Director Sam Peckinpah and actor Warren Oates sold the property to Quaid about 25 years ago. |
