50 Cent will donate meals for 'likes'Call it a philanthropic promotion, where a "like" equals a meal. Rapper 50 Cent, a.k.a Curtis Jackson, has promised to provide a meal to a child in need every time his new Street King energy shots receive a "like" on Facebook through Sunday. He's teaming up with the United Nations World Food Programme, and if he gets a million likes by Sunday, he'll donate an additional one million meals.
He adds in a statement, “People who want to help fight hunger are not being asked to donate or pay anything to help. It’s real simple. All they have to do is 'like' the Street King page on Facebook and I will give a meal to a hungry kid.” But the rapper's philanthropy doesn't end this week: The UN World Food Programme confirms that 50 Cent will provide a meal for every Street King energy shot sold in the next five years. The goal? One billion meals. |

Not a 50 fan, but well done sir! Nice little marketing ploy.
Great marketing ploy to generate sales. He should be a professor at Harvard
selfish people say "why do i have to like his page", "why cant he just donate the money"
this is why people are suffering in the world
he isnt asking for your money.....just two seconds of your time to click "like" on his product page....
you like so many other sites that are garbage but refuse to click to support a good cause......shame
found it!! http://www.facebook.com/streetking
@evel knievel I don't smoke or drink kool aid,I like a big fat dill pickle dipped in argo laundry starch and peanuts and RC.
The meal includes a chick-o-stick, a glass of Kool Aid, and a Newport.
Why must we "like" the page? Why not just donate the frickin money!
I did it can you?
i dont know what profile it is!! there are too many "street king" pages! any advice?
There's a FB link in the article above, you can access the page via that link.
what a good idea, to accomplish such a hugh feat. good job Curtis Jackson. i applaud you. and the rest of these idiots on this page are just that idiots and envious people that wish they could do the same or just want a free meal .
Why not just take them to the candy shop?
@cookie,don't start the bs okay man?
Word up omies. I be Nate Dawg. Me and my peeps be layin chilly today. Might go cruzin in our hoopdie later though. word.
50 cents is a good price for a meal. Im going to ask my mom if she has any change I can borrow.
How many will he feed per *POOT*.
What if his Street King energy shots stink, are people gonna "like"'em anyway? It's a good cause, but it's really a promotion for his product with a "tie in" that would make people seem heart less if they honestly don't "like"! All in all, if the product sells well I suppose he'll make enough $$ to feed a billion starving kids!!
LIKE HIS DRINK ON FB Y'ALL.... HELP FEED PEOPLE!!!
