'Modern Family' brings more wowThere's no doubt that the MVP for Wednesday night's episode of "Modern Family" is Gloria. After all, she helped bring "more wow" to Jay's presentation to a hotshot client ("Freaks and Geeks'" Samm Levine, great as ever). She also helped out Claire, who was on the fence about running for city council against (so glad to see more of him too!) David Cross' character Duane Bailey. Phil also had some words of encouragement for his wife: "If you wanna fly I'm not gonna hold your feet to the ground, I'm gonna be the one to push you off the cliff."
I'm very interested to see where Claire's campaign is going to go this season - all of this despite Phil's no-good, very-bad-day taking charge of the kids. "I take my eye off the ball for one minute and I've got one kid in a coma, one with a black eye and one running a crime ring," said Claire. (A great bit of physical comedy, by the way, from Ty Burrell and the "drugged" Ariel Winter.) I also loved seeing the varying reactions all of the guys in the family had to getting Haley's money back from a fake ID scammer, and it was hilarious to watch Mitchell be the first one to tackle the guy down when he tried to escape (despite the grass stain). This is the kind of "Modern Family" episode that you might show someone who's never seen it before. Solid from start to finish. What did you think about it? I am probably more of a CONSERVATIVE then you and I still thoroughly enjoy this show AND watch every episode. WHY? Because it's funny and about the importance of FAMILY!!! Where's the political agenda... there isn't ONE!!!
Modern Family is THE BEST show on TV. We never miss an episode.
Being a highly sought after professionally trained Hollywood Cosmotologist, I think this program places a negative light on both females and african americans. We need shows that are more uplifting. More spiritually entwined with the universe.

It is a great show
ummmm....have you ever watched the show? The women are cast as the ones keeping it all together, and the guys are lovable but kinda goofy. If anyone were to be offended, maybe the gay community? But to be honest, the show makes fun of the stereotypes. Let's face it. "jail is going to be a big change for 2 of you!" is a GREAT line
