Arnold Schwarzenegger unveils statue of himselfIn front of hundreds of fans and teenage son Patrick, Arnold Schwarzenegger unveiled a giant, buff bronze statue of himself on Friday, the Los Angeles Times reports. Schwarzenegger’s new monument is one of three self-commissioned bronze statues. The statue depicts the former governor as a young bodybuilder, and stands at the star’s new museum in his hometown of Thal, Austria. "For me, this is not only a museum," Schwarzenegger said. "It is also a symbol of will ... everyone has a chance."
Open since July, the home where Arnold grew up displays items like his first barbells, his childhood bed, a sword from “Conan the Barbarian” and a copy of his polished wood governor's desk, according to the BBC. "Love coming back home," the former Mr. Universe tweeted Thursday with a picture of "old friends" at dinner. Arnold also tweeted a picture of a former teacher, writing, "She said she lived this long to make sure we made something of ourselves." We're sure Schwarzenegger's teacher will also appreciate her former pupil's upcoming memoir. What do you think of Arnie's bronze tribute to himself? Is it too soon since the paternity scandal?
