Zsa Zsa's husband plans to run for mayor of L.A.In these civic minded times, Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, wants to take lead of Los Angeles as the city's mayor. He tells CNN that he's running for mayor in 2013, and is planning to announce his intention via billboard either today or Thursday, depending on the weather. (Obviously, they couldn't put up a billboard in the rain, now could they?) Von Anhalt told CNN a full press release on his candidacy will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Von Anhalt explained that he'd like to run for mayor because he wants to take on L.A.'s problems with homelessness and unemployment. “People know me," he says. "They know I tell the truth even if it hurts.” According to Von Anhalt, current Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa “is more of an actor now. He’s forgotten about City Hall.” |
