Even though Will Arnett has his own hit sitcom with "Up All Night," TV Guide reports that the actor will reprise his role as Devon Banks on “30 Rock” this season.
The sixth season of the NBC comedy will start this winter, but there’s no set date for Jack’s nemesis to return. We’ll have to be surprised.
When we last left him, evil Devon had exited the corporate world to become a stay-at-home dad (much like his role on “Up All Night,” except that's minus the evil).
Arnett, 41, says he’d like for his character, usually such a shark, to snap out of his slump.
“If I were to return to '30 Rock,' I'd like to see Devon grow his spine back a little bit, even though his spine is still pretty jelly-ish,” the Canadian actor told TV Guide last month.
Amidst all Will’s new TV success, there’s the news that we could get new episodes of Arnett’s cult classic TV series "Arrested Development,” as well as the highly anticipated movie. It’s just too much!
“30 Rock” won't return until the mid-season, but you can catch “Up All Night” Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
