'Simpsons' deal: 'Homer' sells home to 'Moe'

In celebrity real estate news, the Los Angeles Times reports that Dan Castellaneta, who voices Homer on “The Simpsons,” sold his mansion to Hank Azaria, who voices bartender Moe.

The sale price of the Pacific Palisades home? $5.5 million. That’s a lot of d’oh! (Sorry, had to do it.)

Emmy-winning voice actor Castellaneta and his wife, television writer Deb Lacusta, had lowered the listing price on their home of five years by $200,000 before Azaria purchased it.

Gaga: Bullying is a hate crime, must become illegal

Spurred by the death of Jamey Rodemeyer, Lady Gaga is on a mission to make bullying illegal, reports the International Business Times.

Buffalo teenager Rodemeyer committed suicide on Sunday. The 14-year-old, who made a video for the "It Gets Better" PSA project, endured intense harassment about his sexuality by classmates at Williamsville North High School.

In his "It Gets Better" video, Rodemeyer cited Lady Gaga as an inspiration because of her message of acceptance, and on Wednesday, Gaga took to Twitter to advocate for laws against bullying.

Watch: Full trailer for 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'

It's about time. Sony Pictures has released a full-length trailer for the English adaptation of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."

Based on the international best-seller by Stieg Larsson, disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) is hired by an aging Swedish tycoon (Christopher Plummer) to solve the mysterious disappearance of his granddaughter. It might be easy to presume that viewers are already familiar with the story thanks to the book, but this trailer sets up the central mystery in case you don't know.

Cowboy up! 'Modern Family' is back

After another great night at the Emmys, it was time for our favorite family to return on Wednesday night, and none too soon.

The season premiere of "Modern Family" was two back-to-back episodes, and though I somewhat preferred the first one over the second, they were both solid, showing once again why it's one of the most consistently funny shows on TV.

In the first episode, they took a trip to a Wyoming dude ranch, where Mitchell had reservations about adopting a boy (and wanted to use this opportunity to find his more manly side). Jay was fending off a ranch hand making passes at Gloria, Alex had a summer romance, Phil was hamming it up as usual (with cowboy skills like "shootin', ropin', pancake eatin'"), and Claire was this close to wishing that Haley's dim boyfriend Dylan would walk off a cliff.

Gisele Bündchen gets out of a speeding ticket

Supermodel mom Gisele Bündchen was pulled over for speeding in Cape Cod this weekend but Tom Brady’s lady was able to avoid getting a ticket, reports the Boston Herald.

State trooper Michael Hopper was running a speed trap Saturday on Route 6 in Barnstable when he stopped a speeding Cadillac SUV, the paper says. Giselle was at the wheel with two babies in the back (presumably her son Benjamin and step-son Jack).

“He did give her a warning and let her go on her way,” said State Police spokesman David Procopio of the incident. “He reminded her that the speed limit on the Cape is 55, not 65 as it is in other parts of the state.”

Wiz Khalifa on fame, love and being a rock star

These days Cameron "Wiz Khalifa" Thomaz, the rapper behind platinum hits “Black and Yellow” and “Roll Up,” is dealing with the highs and lows of superstardom.

BET honored Wiz with nine nominations for their upcoming Hip-Hop Awards show, matched only by Kanye West (and surpassed by Lil Wayne’s seemingly absurd 18 nods).

Add to that the rapper’s venture into cinema with the stoner movie “High School” - which he’s making with his idol-turned-mentor, Snoop Dogg - and it seems like he can’t lose. Or can he?
