Gisele Bündchen gets out of a speeding ticketSupermodel mom Gisele Bündchen was pulled over for speeding in Cape Cod this weekend but Tom Brady’s lady was able to avoid getting a ticket, reports the Boston Herald. State trooper Michael Hopper was running a speed trap Saturday on Route 6 in Barnstable when he stopped a speeding Cadillac SUV, the paper says. Giselle was at the wheel with two babies in the back (presumably her son Benjamin and step-son Jack). “He did give her a warning and let her go on her way,” said State Police spokesman David Procopio of the incident. “He reminded her that the speed limit on the Cape is 55, not 65 as it is in other parts of the state.”
The state trooper's son reportedly tweeted later about his dad’s run-in with the supermodel: “He let her go,” William J. Hopper supposedly divulged. “But in return she signed her autograph on the citation with kisses.” Procopio assures the public that Ms. Bündchen didn’t get out of a ticket because of her star status. “That trooper stopped 25 cars that day, five were given warnings including Gisele,” he said. “The other 20, who were doing more egregious things, were given tickets. She got no special treatment. If he stopped Mrs. Rex Ryan for the same thing, she also wouldn’t have gotten a citation.” (Rex Ryan is the head coach of the Jets, for those of you who are not football fans.)

He reminded her the speed limit is 55 and not 65. Most hwys in NJ, the speed limit is 65. They didn't say how fast she was driving. Most people go 10 mph over the limit. So she may have been going faster. Just saying..
This story is lame. I think she is a dill rod but the trooper is even worse if she got off because he got an autograph with "kisses".......BARF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was only going 65 on the highway which most likely was deserted. Whatever reasons they have to slow down traffic there to 55 there is really no BIG difference in controling the car at 55 v.s. 65.

Speed traps are money-printing machines for cops. They'll even stop you if they see you warn someone with your headlights about the trap. Since it causes the other driver to slow down to the speed limit, what possible reason would they have to warn you about warning other drivers? EASY, it's because they make huge amounts of money out of those things, which is the REAL goal, not public safety.
Just the fact that she had two little kids in the car should have been reason enough to write her up.
I'm pretty sure she was going 65 in a 55.. don't act like you dont do that. Even if it is with kids in the car.. she's was not being reckless.
I do and when I get stopped I always get a ticket. Don't act so holier than thou dude, it doesn't work with me.
