Estranged couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette have oft repeated that their split hasn't affected their friendship, and it doesn't look like it's affected their business relationship either. TVLine reports that the actors are reportedly developing a sitcom together.
The “Friends”-esque comedy series “explores the ups and downs of relationships across a group of friends, spanning 10 years,” according to sources. It’s tentatively titled “10 Years.”
Two of the characters may be nominally inspired by David and Courteney's separation and co-parenting situation. (The actors are parents to daughter Coco, 7.) Arquette could potentially be a star, but Cox would likely stay behind the scenes, as she has “Cougar Town” commitments.
The couple will start pitching the ensemble project to networks soon, and TVLine speculates that Cox and Arquette’s ABC Studios-based Coquette Productions will likely get first dibs.
