Teen star Taylor Lautner is a hot property in Hollywood, thanks to the “Twilight” movies. But the 19-year-old’s flick, “Abduction,” hasn’t even hit theaters yet and the actor’s already been linked to co-star Lily Collins.
Denzel Whitaker spoke to CNN at the film’s premiere yesterday, and hinted that there may have been something to the rumors.
Whitaker watched the romance between Lautner and Collins blossom on set and wishes the couple the best, whatever they are. “Their relationship was cute and I hope it's still going on, if it's still going on,” he said.
For his part, Lautner didn’t comment on his relationship status, but revealed that he had instant chemistry with 22-year-old Lily (who happens to be musician Phil Collins’ daughter). “She's fantastic,” he enthused. “Super talented and we knew she was the girl for the role."
Nonetheless, Taylor said he was “probably a little too over protective” about Lily’s stunt work in the thriller. “I mean there was some dangerous ones and for me, I was totally fine, alright, let's do it! But I definitely always had Lily in the back of my mind.”
The actress herself, apparently, wasn’t so worried: "I knew I had to up my game and I've always been about doing my own stunts as well. I love action, so I thought, I'm just going to go with it. Full force!”
You can judge the stars' love connection for yourself when "Abduction" hits theaters September 23.
