Jane Goodall is the subject of upcoming biopic “Jane’s Journey,” which chronicles the famed chimpanzee researcher’s travels, life and work. And according to People, an unexpected celebrity pal will be featured in the film: Angelina Jolie.
"I was delighted when she told me she would be excited to be a part of the film," Goodall, 77, said of the altruistic movie star. Jolie appears in the film working on a sustainability project at Goodall’s home.
"Sometimes, caught up in the moment, people promise to give their support but don't, or can't come through,” Goodall continued. “That was not true with Angelina."
Other famous friends involved in the project include Pierce Brosnan and Dave Matthews.
“Jane's Journey” will debut in around 500 theaters on September 27. On that night, Goodall will be broadcast live to the selected theaters to answer fan questions, which you can submit on the Jane Goodall Live Facebook page.
