"American Idol" was a love fest for the judges last season, but Jennifer Lopez says this season things have gotten more heated.
People reports the singer told "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that she and fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler have already butted heads.
"Me and Randy and Steve got into our first fight," she told Seacrest. "I got really, really upset."
It seems the argument centered around a young woman's audition for the show. Lopez loved her, but the other two judges were not as impressed. While Lopez was ready to vote on sending her through, Tyler requested another song and then he and Jackson nixed the singer.
"I thought I was being Punk'd," Lopez said. "[I thought], 'How can we let this girl go?' I was upset. When I believe in something … I knew this girl deserves the chance."
Our advice to the judges: Save your fighting energy for beating "The X Factor" in the ratings.
