A lot of life changes for T.I.
Multi-platinum rapper T.I. was released from prison Wednesday morning. The “King of the South” will serve the last month of his one-year sentence in a community living facility in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, MTV reports.
T.I. took to Twitter to announce his return: "Feels great to be back where I belong...Back in the arms of those who need me the most. The storm is over & da sun back out. IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!"
A free man, T.I. will also begin filming his impending VH1 reality series.
According to the network, the untitled project will see T.I. "reunited with his wife and kids and thrust back into society at this crucial juncture in his life."
Wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle (a former member of '90s R & B group Xscape), who has two children with T.I., as well as a daughter from a previous relationship, is set to appear by her man’s side on the reality show.
But this isn’t the artist’s first series. “T.I.’s Road to Redemption” aired on MTV in 2009. Cottle also had a reality show, "Tiny & Toya," which aired on BET that same year.
Catch T.I.'s new series when it premiere on VH1 December 5 at 10 p.m.
