Hugh Hefner's former fiancee Crystal Harris has said she didn't know what to do with the diamond engagement ring Hef let her keep, but it seems she's figured it out.

According to TMZ, Harris has put the 3.39 carat rock up for auction at Christie's in New York. The bauble, estimated to be worth $90,000, will be sold to the highest bidder next month. A listing is estimating that the ring will rake in somewhere between $20,000 and $30,000.

Anonymous sources tell TMZ that Harris just couldn't bear to keep the jewelry, since looking at it brought back "bad memories." Crystal herself, however, has tweeted in response to a remark about her keeping the ring, "don't believe everything you hear."

Harris, if you'll recall, is the Playboy Playmate 85-year-old Hefner was on track to wed in June. They never made it down the aisle, however, because aspiring singer Harris called off the wedding five days before the ceremony.

Ozzy and Sharon are getting a daughter-in-law: Jack Osbourne has popped the question to aspiring actress Lisa Stelly and she said yes, CNN has confirmed.

Former reality star Jack, 25, had been dating Lisa, 24, for just four months before proposing, reports MTV.

On Thursday, the future Mrs. Jack Osbourne took to Twitter to announce the engagement: "The most amazing man I've ever met asked me to marry him....and he wasn't joking! Crazy, right?"

Gwyneth Paltrow may have gone a little overboard celebrating her 39^th birthday on Tuesday, if her Twitter account is any indication. Wednesday morning, the actress alerted followers to her “horrific hangover,” reports E! Online.

"Nursing a horrific hangover at the jfk,” Gwynnie shared early Wednesday. “Nothing like starting an overseas flight dehydrated. Where is the dog, I need the hair."

Paltrow’s “Contagion” co-star Ali Wentworth hinted at the source of the birthday girl’s sickness, replying, "Happy Hang-over!!!! Heard it was Crazy! Next year Paris!"

Rock star Courtney Love has landed a deal with HarperCollins to publish a “tell-all” memoir, reports New York Magazine.

Love, 47, wants to “set the record straight” with the as-yet-untitled tome. Due out next fall, the book will recount her unique life from childhood to the present day, including her marriage to the late Kurt Cobain.

The publisher announced the deal Thursday. A press release reads: “Although Love is often associated with deceased husband, music legend and front man of Nirvana, Kurt Cobain, she has had an incredible artistic career of her own crisscrossing into music, film, popular culture and fashion… True to form, Love will hold nothing back in the telling of her life story.”

So states Dr. Meredith Grey’s voiceover on last night’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” in which the fifth years receive their first solo surgery assignments. Dr. Callie Torres jokes, “We’ve alerted the morgue.” Although this may not be entirely a joke.

But as the fifth years are ushered into general surgery, Dr. Richard Webber essentially demotes himself to their level, after 11 years as Chief of Surgery at Seattle Grace. No longer the chief, Richard's now just a general surgeon. As Dr. Owen Hunt is promoted to Chief, most are shocked, Teddy Altman is thrilled and Bailey is devastated, making her famous “Bailey eyes” face at Richard.

David Arquette's told us in the past that he and estranged wife Courteney Cox can see other people, and it looks like that wasn't just talk.

E! Online reports that Arquette revealed the identity of his new girlfriend on Howard Stern’s Sirius show: "Entertainment Tonight" reporter Christina McLarty.

The 40-year-old told listeners Wednesday that he and Cox have moved into "the friend zone," opening him up to see “someone new.” The pair split last October after 11 years of marriage.

Bravo dismissed four of the ladies on "The Real Housewives of New York," but it looks like one of their New Jersey counterparts might be trying to bail on her own accord.

In a string of tweets earlier this week, "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member Jacqueline Laurita made some interesting remarks, which have been taken as a sign that she's exiting the show.

First she explained that she wasn't attending the reunion because she felt ill, and then followed that up with, "Someone (not me) got set up tonight. There are some sneaky people trying to make someone look bad & then play innocent on camera. Sad....2b honest. I'm tired of the BS & s---y low life people. I didn't know this was what I signed up 4. I have 2rise above & move on."
