Wahlbergs opening aptly named burger jointBrothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg are opening a burger joint together called … wait for it … Wahlburgers. According to The Boston Herald, the brothers, including chef Paul Wahlberg, have secured their awesome name, as well as a lease on a 4,300 square foot space. The burger joint will be installed near their Italian restaurant, Alma Nove, at Hingham Shipyard. Hingham Shipyard, of course, is in Boston. The name Wahlburgers was previously trademarked, so it was a bit of work obtaining “full spectrum” use of the name, Ed St. Croix, Paul Wahlberg’s business partner, told The Herald. Oddly, there was already a “Wahlburger” being sold by New York burger chain Tom Wahl’s. But it was worth the extra effort. Wahlbergers! The new burger joint will seat about 80 inside and 40 on an outdoor patio. Older brother Paul will serve as Wahlberger’s chef.

The brothers last name is Wahlberg. Name of the restraunt will be Wahlburgers. They had an issue with the name Wahlburger cause there was a burger already with that name at another restraunt. Then they said congrats to the Wahlberg brothers. Simple enough?
to Kyla: If you didn't have such a low i.q. (which is presumably evident for your negligence/stupidity in not reading for context), you would have understood that there is a TM issue with the name "Wahlburgers" which the Whalbergs were attempting to obtain for TM rights. To prevent any issue of TM infringement or initial confusion (Under the Lanham Act), they applied for TM protection on "Whalbergers" while also getting the name registered. That doesn't necessarily preclude them from getting sued from the owners of the TM Whalburgers (which is a different issue). Anyways, the point is, read for context before you divulge on impulse and allege such frivolous allegations which have no conclusive support or evidence to back up your idiotic claim re editing.

Yeah,thanks for that. Except CNN has now changed the original story as they so often do. Your own intelligent response has been duly noted.
Oh... and they STILL spell Wahlburgers Wahlbergers (when referencing the chef, for example). So while you're making personal attacks on me, somewhat unnecessarily in my view, the issue with the editing still stands. It's not the end of the world, we all make mistakes, but I would love it if CNN were a touch more consistent with their editing. On the other hand, I think that's the problem with constant web-writing: things do slip through in a way that they likely would not in a more traditional news room.

Beat me to it. Hingham Shipyard isn't remotely in Boston. It's near Boston (half hour – 45 minute drive, depending on traffic), but it's also just as close to Cape Cod.

Marky Mark needs to invest in more acting lessons. Oh right that won't help because he still wouldn't know how to act.
I'm sure you'll give him a few pointers, having such successful thespian accolades, oh wait......you didn't show us your Oscar or Tony or Emmy. I'm sure once you win one, you can criticize him all you want.

Walhberg MADE The Departed and got an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor. He was the $h!t.
I very much like him in movies. I don't think he is super versatile or anything, but I like him. He is believable and pics good roles for his skill set.
