Gaga top-ranked celeb on 'Powerful Women' listForbes’ latest “100 Most Powerful Women” list is out, and political heavy-hitters like Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, First Lady Michelle Obama and Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, predictably scored top spots. But the top of the list also includes Lady Gaga! The controversial pop star is listed at No. 11, surpassing all the other celebrities on the list.
Gaga, 25, outranks even Oprah Winfrey (No. 14), coming in just above Jill Abramson, executive editor of the New York Times. Queen Elizabeth is No. 49, just for context. Other celebs on the list include Beyonce (No. 18), Angelina Jolie (No. 29), Ellen DeGeneres (No. 55), and Gisele Bündchen (No. 60).

I don't know how anyone is doubting this ranking. Purple sequin glasses are an obvious display of dominance.
Ga Ga deserves this ranking. Not only is she a singer, musician and a performance artist, but she has unselfishly devoted herself to many causes. Most noteworthy is her fight for equality for gays lesbians and transgender folks. She has also long advocated for gays to be allowed to serve openly in the military. You can hate her art, but she has a big soul.
That's all well and good, but first off, devoting yourself to a cause doesn't make you "powerful" it makes you "charitable". There's a difference. Also, on the gay, lesbian front, she hasn't actually accomplished anything other than being a loud sideshow, sapping up all the attention from people who actually know what they're talking about on that issue. Gaga talking about gays in the military had nothing to do with the policy changing, I can assure you.
this girl is garbage why waste your money, clearly she has supressed issues she needs to deal with.
You are hateful and maybe you shouid deal with yourself... People that hate are just unhappy people.... Oprah and others have made their name but the are not the only ones that can famous or important. Lady Gaga is the most giving loving person and you need to not hate the player..... you obviously hate the game... get over yourself
