Sorry Christine O’Donnell. ABC has another 'View'

Christine O'Donnell has been making the rounds on various talk shows, chatting about all types of memories.

When she's not walking out on interviews, the Tea Party favorite can be found dishing on her new book "Troublemaker: Let's Do What it Takes to Make America Great Again."

But one of her stories has run afoul of the remembrances of the queen of interviews, Barbara Walters.

In her book, O'Donnell claims to have auditioned for Walters' show "The View" and was close to snagging one of the co-host chairs. “The interview with Walters went so well they drew up a proposed contract, but ultimately the job went to Lisa Ling," O'Donnell writes in her new book.

Only problem is, the folks over at ABC have no recollection of that ever happening.

The Joy Behar Show reached out to a rep for "The View", who responded with the following statement: "We have no memory of her and no record or contract nor does Ms. Walters remember meeting her."

Well that's awkward.

When Behar's guest host, E.D. Hill, pointed out the discrepancy to O'Donnell, the former Delaware GOP Senate candidate said “You can check with Bill Geddie we did meet we did have the interview but I guess they just chose to go in a different direction and I was okay with it because I do believe that all opportunities are not good opportunities.”

Geddie says he has no recollection of ever meeting O'Donnell.

Guess we can chalk this one up to having a different "View."

To catch Christine O'Donnell's entire interview, watch "The Joy Behar Show" Friday at 10 p.m. on HLN.

Watch The Joy Behar Show Sunday through Friday at 10 pm ET on HLN. For the latest from The Joy Behar Show click here.

"I do believe that all opportunities are not good opportunities."

Ummmm....so, NO opportunities are good? I think she means "NOT all opportunities are good opportunities."

Why are all the extremely stupid females in the political spotlight?

    DONALD TRUMP-SARA PALIN-MICHELE BACHMANN-RICK PERRY

    Take a long hard look

This is the new GOP for 2012

Pandering to the lowest common denominator, pushing for a 3rd world size government, while maintaing an enormous military industrial complex, lies and distortion galore, rubber stamp for the wealthy and big business, with little respect for science, economics, or the enviroment, hypocrisyin blaming others for their sins, the ultamate in form without substance, sabotaging our economy and the US credit rating (thanks Tea Party), just to gain polictical advantage.

I plagiarized this comment from a polictical blogg, could not help myself, its says it all for me, I could not have said it better.

INDEPENDENT FYI, GOP, Independents will decide the next election

What? She thought no one would check this one out? She trying to hype herself and try to make herself look more important and valuable than she is. Lying about something like this makes you look like an idiot.

Funny how Christine O'Donnell spouts her bigotry 24/7, then gets offended if anyone mentions it.

Sounds like mental disorder, to me.

Simply put, you can believe nothing that Chrissie (or Sarah, or Michelle) says. Nothing. Her atrophied little mind sees everything as she wishes it to be- extreeeeeemely delusional.
Then somehow, Chrissie sees herself as a leader. Totally absurd. Go get some exercise, Chrissie. No brooms, now.

Huh. She lied?! No way! Just to drum up publicity for herself while she's on a media tour looking to sell some book that she had someone write for her? Hard to believe! This woman is trying to be $arah Palin part II, but is obviously too stupid to even pull that off.

Why are all these "reputable" show hosts even talking to this "witch". There are so many other credible people out there that can contribute honest views on important issues. I didn't think anyone could beat Palin for idiotic talk and behavior, but I think O'Donnell has topped her and you all are falling into her trap and she's making money off of it.

Everyone needs to lay off of this woman. We, as a society, need to be more understanding and accepting of the mentally challenged. It's not a fair fight when you pick on someone of diminished capacity, such as Ms. O'Donnell. She can't defend herself against your multi-syllabic words and your fancy book learning logic. The next time you see her, just give her an enthusiastic thumbs up, give her a pat on her little head and move along.

I cannot believe the caliber of liars who call themselves the Tea Party. Why do they have such a hard time distinguishing between fact and fiction? Just look at ODonnell, Palin, Bachmann, Perry...practically everything out of their mouths are either exaggerations of the truth or lies. Do they actually think that the public is that stupid to overlook these ridiculous statements and that no one will call them on it? Why would Piers Morgan lower himself to interview ODonnell? Does he actually care about what she has to say? WE DON'T!

Chrissy O'Donnell is either very sick, very stupid, or getting very bad advice. she's not only a witch, she's a very chubby witch with very little personality. The only O'Donnell I want on The View is Rosie – at least she'd knock some sense and meat into that program which is now suffering for an over-flow of ridiculous Elisabeth Hasselbach and Sherry Shepard meaningless banter. And Barbara Walters seems to have lost it – but none of her hires has the nerve to tell her.

That commute would KILL me. I hate dniivrg. I mean I really, really hate it. If I could get rid of my car altogether, I'd be a happy girl. The longest commute I've ever had was 30 minutes one way, and that felt like an eternity. I usually listened to audiobooks or public radio (oh my, I think I've just outed myself as a huge geek). I just couldn't deal with hearing the same three songs over and over on the radio.

If Christine O'Donnell was as close as she thinks that she was to scoring a seat with the ladies of "The View", you'd think that she'd be a finalist and there would be videos of her on-set with the other women because the show has always given the guest seat to finalists as they're being considered. Empty words coming from and empty brain.

Do not trust them? Better to say that you CANNOT trust any of them. They are all out to make themselves seem to be far more than they are or can ever be, all for their personal benefit. To this end, not a one of them will swear off exaggerations, distortions and outright lies to get even a tiny bit more undeserved attention.
