Today's news you might've missed:
Every time a celebrity announces they're expecting, the baby-name speculation begins (we're looking at you, GOOP.)
Names have ranged from the unique (Jessica Alba's new daughter Haven) to the, well, original (Jason Lee's son Pilot Inspektor) to the comic book-inspired (Nic Cage's son Kal-El).
Magician Penn Jillette, father of son Zolten and daughter Moxie CrimeFighter, spoke with CNN's Piers Morgan on Tuesday night about the thought behind those monikers.
Little Monsters, start your Christmas lists now! Lady Gaga and infamous celebrity photographer Terry Richardson have collaborated on a coffee table book that promises “revelatory and exciting” photos, capturing Lady Gaga “as never before seen.”
That’s a tall order considering the star’s usually outrageous persona.
“Richardson brilliantly captures the intimate, random, behind-the-scenes moments of Lady Gaga in both her professional and personal life,” promises the book's press release.
Katy Perry’s current single “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart this week, making the pop superstar the second artist in the 53-year history of the Hot 100 to produce five No. 1 singles off the same album.
The first to accomplish this feat? The late King of Pop.
Although Perry ties with Michael Jackson by having the most singles off the same album to hit No. 1, the 26-year-old is the first woman and the only living artist to achieve the record.
John Stamos has joined the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis in the yogurt endorsement game, reports Food Beast.
The actor appears in commercials for a Dannon product, Oikos Greek yogurt. Jesse Katsopolis would be proud....as is Stamos.
“I am a proud Greek and a proud yogurt eater. And when the call from Dannon came in, and after I tasted Dannon Oikos, I couldn't say no,” the actor said of his new gig.
The TV spot compares Dannon Oikos to French champagne and Swiss chocolate, and sees Stamos bringing the yogurt to a swanky party.
You already have Snooki’s jewelry, slippers, and book. (Don’t you?) So why not throw down for a pair of the “Jersey Shore” star’s sunglasses?
"My sunglass line coming out in the fall! Black frame pink writing says POOF NATION," Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed on Twitter yesterday. In a picture, Snooks models the hot pink and black animal-print frames.
Flashy shades are just the latest in Snooki’s growing empire. The mini-mogul just signed a fragrance deal, Snooki footwear (including pickle-print flip-flops) will arrive this holiday season, and a “Crocodilly” stuffed animal is reportedly in the works.
The 23-year-old New York Times best-selling author is also working on her second book.
