'Man of Steel' bulks up on 5,000 calories a dayBrit actor Henry Cavill is the newest Superman, and his first order of business is to fill out that suit! Cavill tells Total Film magazine that in order to become the steely superhero, he's been chowing down on 5,000 calories a day. "You've got to eat protein first, then a little bit of carbs ... you've gotta keep your hunger levels going," he says of packing on the pounds. The actor is training two and a half hours a day, but luckily he got a head start adding muscle mass. Cavill recently portrayed Theseus in “Immortals,” which will be released on November 11. |
