‘Mad Men’ busting AMC's budget?

Just months after "Mad Men" creator and executive producer Matt Weiner reportedly received a huge check to continue the show for two more seasons, AMC is pushing to cut costs on its other shows, reports the L.A. Times.

The network’s other popular series include “Breaking Bad,” starring Bryan Cranston, and “The Walking Dead.”

After a long, drawn-out negotiation process, Weiner will reportedly get $10 million for each of the next two seasons of “Mad Men.” Fans may be ecstatic that the swinging '60s show will go on, but those behind AMC’s other shows are rumored to be complaining that the hefty “Mad Men” deal is cutting into their shows’ budgets.

Adele plans to go country for next album

For her third album, Brit hitmaker Adele plans to employ a country/bluegrass sound.

Although the singer may have had to reschedule most of her U.S. summer tour due to laryngitis, she kept busy absorbing American music styles, and wants to use what she's learned on her forthcoming album.

"I was exposed to a lot of country, rockabilly and bluegrass," she tells The Sun of her time in the States.

Sofia Vergara opens up on being a teen mom

It’s not uncommon in Hollywood for women to become mothers in their late 30s, 40s, or even 50s. But Sofia Vergara, 39, isn’t following the celebrity trend: she was a teen mom!

The “Modern Family” star was 19 when she had her son Manolo, and can’t imagine having children now. "I don't even want to think about it,” she tells the new issue of Redbook magazine.

The Colombian-born actress was married at 18, and gave birth the next year. "When I had Manolo, I was 19, and I had the energy for everything," she says of the benefits of having a baby young.

Heidi Klum's not leaving 'Project Runway'

Forget what you've heard: Heidi Klum isn't saying "auf wiedersehen" to Lifetime's reality fashion competition yet.

The rumors that Klum, who has hosted the series since 2004 and also serves as a judge and executive producer, was ditching the series began after observers noted that she was absent from the New York filming of an upcoming all-stars season.

But a Lifetime rep tells People that doesn't mean she's off the show. The all-star season "is a completely separate show, with a separate host and a separate set of judges." No word on who the new host and judges are, though.

In the meantime, you can get your Klum fix on season 9 of "Project Runway," which had its premiere on Lifetime last week.

Taylor Swift covers Eminem's 'Lose Yourself'

Taylor Swift covers Eminem's 'Lose Yourself'

Taylor Swift has been paying tribute to hometown stars as she traverses North America on her "Speak Now" tour. So when she rolled into Grand Rapids, Michigan in late July, she opted to show off her rhyming skills and cover a little Eminem.

We, like Entertainment Weekly, are similarly impressed with her ability to put some bass in her voice when she says "Yo" (and the acoustic guitar accompaniment isn't bad, either.) Swift, 21, then segues into Uncle Kracker's "Smile." Note how her audience runs through the lyrics to both tracks right along with the country star.

According to EW, Swift has covered Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi in Jersey and Alanis Morissette and Justin Bieber in Toronto, so of course we gotta ask: Will Swift show Chicago her best Kanye cover when she hits the Windy City on August 9 and 10?
