Now that same-sex marriage is legal in New York, word is "Project Runway" judge Michael Kors is tying the knot!
Life and Style spotted the famed fashion designer and longtime partner Lance LePere at the city clerk's office in Manhattan on Wednesday, and the New York Post reports that the couple is indeed set to marry.
"Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together,” Kors, 51, said in a statement. “We have no plans for a major party, but we will be getting married privately."
The couple met in 1990, when LePere joined Kors’s company as an intern.
"Over the years and the day-to-day process of dreaming together, things just naturally fell into place," LePere has said of their relationship, according to Life and Style.

Congrats, and may this lead to the law from sea to shining sea!
Congratulations,I hope you'll be very happy.
Congrats to the happy couple! Marriage is tough & needs alot of work, hope it doesn't wreck years of togetherness, as it has for hetero couples! Hate to be a partypoop, but divorce rates don't lie!!

Congratulations. You both deserve to be happy.
Deserve to be happy? Why is it in this country that everyone deserves this and they deserve that? Ugh. Wish them happiness in their marriage, but they don't "deserve to be happy."
