Miley Cyrus supports gay rights with finger tattooMiley Cyrus temporarily quit Twitter last year, but the former "Hannah Montana" star is back in business, stirring up controversy with new body art. On Friday, Cyrus tweeted a photo of her new marriage equality-themed tattoo. Along with the picture of her fresh ink - a small equal sign on the side of her ring finger - Cyrus wrote "All LOVE is equal." In response to one fan's negative tweet, Miley retorted, "where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn't. GOD is the only judge honey. 'GOD is love.'"
The former Disney kid has a history of supporting gay rights. When Carrie Prejean announced during the Miss USA contest in 2009 that she didn’t believe in gay marriage, Cyrus also took to Twitter. "Jesus loves you and your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! That's like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz he's gay and that is wrong and very sad!" she wrote at the time. "Like I said everyone deserves to be happy. I am a Christian and I love you — gay or not. Because you are no different that [sic] anyone else! We are all God's children!" |

The God of the Old Testament who believed in killing people and who populated the Earth through incest or the God of the New Testament, who was all about love, forgiveness and not judging others? Christianity originally stated that you had to follow the 10 commandments to gain entrance to Heaven. With the death of Jesus, they changed the entire rules of the game and stated that all you have to do is believe that Jesus is the son of God. So judging people is no longer part of the equation in Christianity 2.0. The most heinous child rapist and murderer can get into heaven just because he believes in Jesus Christ. The bible, written by humans/prophets, who tried to interpret the words of God, got it right maybe 50% of the time! The 1 thing that is true is that God is the judge, not us! If we hate Adam & Steve because we judge them to be an "abomination," then we are just as wrong as we claim they are! Why is anyone still following the bible anyway? The Old Testament version of Christianity didn't work out at all, so they had to reboot it with the New Testament. Have you ever asked yourself why God would care if two men or women chose to be together? It doesn't harm anyone or anything. Shouldn't a just and loving God be worried about right and wrong rather than arbitrarily determining something is wrong without any facts to back it up? Have you ever wondered how we got so many people when it all started with 1 man and 1 woman? The only way it could happen is if brothers and sisters married and procreated. But Moses states that incest is wrong. So that means that all of us came from heinous and disgusting incestuous roots. Maybe that's why mankind can be so darned mentally "impaired."

There is a way to read around it Jon K, it's called Jesus. He came to forgive man of ALLLLL sins, if he does indeed consider this a sin. The translation in Leviticus from Hebrew to English is actually Her map hro dite (one word but it won't post that way), which means they have both male and female parts. The word Hom os ex ual (again on word) is just something preachers like to throw around, and does not even appear in the Bible at all.
The Bible also says that you are to love your neighbor as yourself, and not judge. Leave the judgment up to God, each and every time you say something about another person you are judging and according to the Bible that is wrong. Many people pick one verse in the Bible to explain all that is wrong with the world, but in order to really understand you have to read the verses that come before and after.
