Academy Award winning actress Mo'Nique is about to have more time on her hands.
BET has confirmed to CNN that her late night chat fest, "The Mo'Nique Show," has been placed on hiatus.
The show, which has been on for two seasons, will continue through the summer the network said.
"'The Mo’Nique Show' will be on production hiatus beginning in the fall," according to a statement from BET. "However, new episodes of the show will continue to air throughout the summer. Mo’nique Hicks and 'The Mo’Nique Show' are important to the Network and we look forward to continuing our relationship with her."
But the actress may not be out of work for long.
Variety reports that she's in talks to play a supporting role in the indie dramedy "Bumped," starring Katie Cassidy, Alex Gonzalez and Xenia Siamas.
