Ricky Martin, Nicki Minaj new faces of Viva GlamMove over Gaga. MAC has two new spokespeople for its Viva Glam campaign. New York Magazine's "The Cut" reports that rapper Nicki Minaj and singer Ricky Martin have landed the gig. Minaj recently tweeted, "Yesterday was perfection. MAC shoot, + Ricky Martin + David LaChapelle + MIAMI = PURE Unadulterated PERFECTION!" The company donates the proceeds from the limited edition Viva Glam products to HIV and AIDS prevention and treatment.

Awesome... Great charity.... Finally, putting HIV/AIDS back to the forefront. A cure is needed...
Im sorry to be such a pessimist, but, quite frankly, no one is looking to cure HIV/AIDS. Funding for finding a cure has decreased significantly in the recent past and a large part of funding is put into discovering new and innovative drugs that will allow us to keep HIV/AIDS as a chronic disease. As long as HIV/AIDS medication continues to generate big $$$ for the pharmaceutical companies and the health field can generally maintain the health of society by keeping the HIV/AIDS at bay, we will continue to see HIV/AIDS cases. This is how our society operates, sad as it may be.
