British leading men invade theaters this fall

If you like fake American accents and guys with moustaches, well you’re in luck.

Two trailers featuring some big names from across the pond have just been released, each promising a scintillating cinematic experience.

Colin Firth and Orlando Bloom take on twangs (and a 'stache for Orly) in the Southern drama “Main Street." Orlando plays a cop in a run-down North Carolina city. A stranger comes to town with a controversial plan to boost the town's economy, changing many in the close-knit community. The drama also stars Ellen Burstyn, Patricia Clarkson, and Amber Tamblyn.

Robert Pattinson, meanwhile, drops trou in the period piece “Bel Ami.” A schemer, Pattinson also charms the pants off pretty Parisians, including Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci.

“Main Street” is set for release in September, and “Bel Ami” comes out in October. What do you think of the trailers?

Couldn't they find any actors that have or can do real southern accents? They both sound so fake!
