'Breaking Dawn' baby freaked out 'Twilight' starsThe birth scene in "Breaking Dawn" gets pretty creepy, and it sounds like the baby stand-in used on set didn't help. In the upcoming “Twilight” installment, Bella (Kristen Stewart) gives birth to her child with vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson), and it turns out Stewart and Pattinson were totally creeped out by their onscreen kid. "We had an animatronic baby, the scene where [Bella] had to be introduced to the baby for the first time," Pattinson explained at Comic-Con, according to MTV.
As a result, Stewart didn’t exactly have a maternal moment filming the post-birth scene. "[The puppeteer] is sweating right below my eyeline, trying to [reach] up to get the [animatronic baby's] hand up to touch your face," she said. "And then it sticks to your hair and pulls a little bit and you're like, 'Ew, get that thing off me! Get me a real baby, this is ridiculous!'" Says Pattinson of the baby stand-in, "It looked like a little troll on a stick." Here's hoping no one has nightmares after watching it. "Breaking Dawn: Part I" bows on November 18. |

Kristen,
I absolutely love vampires and i honestly can not wait to see Breaking Dawn, cause i love the movies. my brothers hate the movies but i tell them to get a life, and so if u werent in the twilight saga, i would probably never watch it....so u r so my role model!!
Enough with the juvenile hate comments. We are going to see more and more of these types of fluff about the actors and the movie more frequently because the PR department wants to get the movie name out. The first installment is due to be released this fall. So this is just the beginning of the PR crank up. We'll see more about Pattinson in magazines and Stewart as well. We'll hear about their bad behavior or how they are kissing and making up. Guys, use your mind. The media is an avenue for advertising on the simplest level. BS sells! Do you think the Kardashians would be anything if it wasn't for the media? Any one of you can be a celebrity if you are willing to shell out enough money or dehumanize yourself to nothing more than a spectacle. Insanity and conflict sell. That means dollars to the media world. So what, she was creeped out by a manequin! If you've ever seen a movie shot it is done in pieces, scene one may be shot last or in the middle. They are notinhg more than Vigniettes that are shot a random times and spliced together. I'm sure Renesmee will be beautiful. The manequin's arm will be nothing more than a quick glimpse of an arm grasping her hair or touching her cheek. The world of editting is wonderful.
geez...I am an old fart and recognize talent and entertainment...the biggest problem with some people seems to be that they do not get it that this is FICTION...and I think there is an element of jealously...the kids are doing well with their careers...let 'em be...if you don't like them, look away...find something else to do...
I'm pretty disappointed about the comments of the peeps who obviously don't follow the movies or books. I do not understand their need to make ignorant comments on something they have never followed or have any knowledge about. What is the point in reading an article you have novested interested in? Much less to make comments that are so deragotory. What is you point? I just see ignorant dummys that just want to start something over what they have no true knowledge of. Go back and watch sponge bob dumb a**. Leave the real critics to made the right comment on what they know.
Hey. Your parents mispelled Karen. Your argument is invalid.
I hope that the baby doesnt look to fake. the way that they make it sound is, bella gives birth to a troll. im pretty sure renesmee is suppose to be the cuttest baby and not look like a troll.
I totally agree with u b....renesmee is suppossed 2 be the cuttest baby!! from wat they put it like, she dosent sound 2 cute at all! no affence peeps!!
I only have two words to say- Dark Shadows!
You just negated your own logic by posting
Question for the Twilight bashers posting here: If you hate Twilight and all things related, why the hell do you bother reading the article and wasting your time posting here and bad mouthing the people who actually love the books/movies? It makes no sense. If I have no interest in an article on here, I don't read it, don't post comments about it, I just pay no attention to it. Really, do you walk around with so much negativity that you are just compelled to read articles about things you hate just so you can be "cool" and bad mouth it on a CNN post... I hope you all feel a little bit better about yourselves now that you've taking the time to bash something you hate.
Some folks live to get a rise out of other folks. Just means they have no life LOL
I would venture to say that what it all boils down to is jealousy of the fact that they didn't write/star/produce/etc something to do with it, people can't stand it when others do well when they don't. It's that whole misery loves company thing.
They have to spend their time doing something or else they might be forced to get out of their parents basement and find a job.
sorry, wrong place. I thought this said breaking wind
LOL
Twilight "Stars"?
Yes, they are the "stars" of the movie. That is the correct term.
Maybe they freaked out because having a baby was the straightest thing they've done in one of these movies
Just change the name to twilight mountain and be who you are, fairy
@ Guest,
You DO realize that this is fiction right? Not sure why he'd be a 'fairy' for taking an extremely lucrative and well written part .. especially considering this role and the others he's had have girls freaking out in his presence like the Beatles. If he's a fairy, I'd like to be a fairy too. lol
Sorry Bubba, but vampires have always been a relevant subject of pop culture and always will be...but here's a tip, if you don't like it, it's called changing the channel
Kristen, shut your mouth and go fix me a sandwich
Here's a nice sandwich for you, Captain. Enjoy the secret ingredient. :-p
Chartreuxe that literally made zero sense. Get your head out of your sparkling fairy-man loving azz and shut up.
Be nice to the woman!! If u don't like vamires then dont watch the movies people!! Now shut ur faces and get over it!
I'll be glad when all this vampire shyte is over with. can we please move on to something better?
the twihards freak me out more than the baby would
Lol! True.
Am I the only one that wishes that sometimes some of the "movie magic"should be kept private? I know that movies are fictional and purely for entertainment but some things should really be left on the movie set.
It should. It was incredibly unprofessional for them to put this in front of the public just to get a few articles written about them. Come on.
It's interesting to see how certain scenes are filmed. For many people, it makes the finished product that much more impressive.
portal punk..... you are still a steaming pile of #2!
Beating a LOSER like you??!! Never mind!!
FIRSTY!!!!!!! Even beating the Twilight fans, they are slow to the gate.
Portalpunk,
u r RETARDED!!!!!!!
love,
