'Entourage' the movie? Grenier's going to say yes

The final season of “Entourage” is here, but that doesn’t mean the show won’t go on.

Ahead of the July 24 premiere episode, the stars of the HBO show hit the red carpet in New York City and spoke with CNN. On top of saying goodbye and reflecting on shooting some of the final scenes for the show, Vincent Chase himself, Adrian Grenier, responded to a question about the prospect of an "Entourage" movie.

“I would hate to disappoint the millions and millions of people that want to see a movie,” Grenier told CNN. “I wouldn’t want to be the guy to deliver that news. So, I’m going to say yes!”

Often viewed as the network’s male-centric counterpart to “Sex and the City,” fans and critics have wondered whether they’d one day see Vincent Chase "hug it out" with his super agent Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) on the big screen.

Actor Kevin Connolly, who plays Vince’s best friend, Eric, says he can definitely see an "Entourage" film coming to fruition.

“You are going to get a movie, it’s just a matter of when,” Connolly told CNN.

Connolly also said there’s no rush.

“We just want to do it the right way,” he said. “We could just go hammer one out, but we don’t want to end a successful eight year run on a show with a crappy movie.”

So what does this mean for the storyline in season 8? Guess we’ll all have to tune in and see how things shape up. I’m still clinging on to hope of a “Viking Quest” movie featuring Johnny Drama.
