Ahead of the Curve: Weekly pop culture cheat sheet

Summer movie season continues with this weekend's anticipated flick, "Captain America: The First Avenger."

Chris Evans stars as both versions of Steve Rogers, a skinny military hopeful who transforms into the buff titular hero, in the film opening in theaters Friday.

Here's what else you shouldn't miss this week:

Sunday

  • Ready for more Bryan Cranston? Hope so, because "Breaking Bad" is back! The new season kicks off tonight at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.

Monday

  • Giuliana Rancic's on TV tonight, and not for an awards show. The E! News host and reality star's show "Giuliana & Bill" is back with a new season on the Style network at 8 p.m. ET.

Tuesday

  • New music from They Might Be Giants ("Join Us") and Three Doors Down ("Time of My Life") are on deck today.
  • Cedric the Entertainer just might make you look at your random collectibles in a new light. His series "It's Worth What?" premieres tonight on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
  • Tune in for "Therapy" from the comfort of your own couch - Lisa Kudrow's "Web Therapy" is on Showtime tonight at 10 p.m. ET.
  • And arriving on DVD: Bradley Cooper in "Limitless."

Friday

  • If you're curious about what Justin Timberlake's backside looks like, you may want to check out his new movie, "Friends with Benefits," about two buds who try to have sex and their platonic relationship, too. He's mentioned plenty of times about his disrobing - as well as all of those awkward sex scenes with co-star Mila Kunis.
