While you were working...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • Steven Patrick Morrissey takes a dig at Michael Buble in a recent interview, calling him "famous and meaningless." We hope this doesn't turn into a case of the pot calling the kettle black. (Billboard)
  • With a nod to her mother, Kate Hudson has named her son Bingham Hawn Bellamy. That's quite a mouthful - we're glad her fiance Matt Bellamy shortened it to "Bing" in a recent tweet. (Us Weekly)
  • Alan Rickman's Severus Snape – the arguable dark horse among the wizards - has won MTV's "Harry Potter" World Cup. Rupert Grint, whose character Ron Weasley took second place, said he agreed with the outcome. (MTV)
  • The Spidey suit got a major upgrade if Andrew Garfield's new magazine cover is any indicator. (Entertainment Weekly)
  • Could the series that inspired HBO's "Game of Thrones" dominate the book world? George R.R. Martin's "A Dance with Dragons" is flying off the shelves at record speeds. (USA Today)
  • An unpublished manuscript from British author Jane Austen was sold for $1.6 million. Before you get your hopes up, it wasn't a sequel to "Pride and Prejudice" - unfortunately, Austen never finished this book called "The Watsons."  (Los Angeles Times)

who the hell is this idiot? he seems pretty meaningless to me. didn't he ever hear of nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. buble is a terrific performer and a nice person. this guy is an ignorant jerk who obviously likes to hear himself talk.
