This year mordern family rocks Emmy!!! See the article http://www.hellogals.com/2011-emmys-ruled-modern-family/a-4629-1
Guys I love Emmy very much. Did you see the latest video of 2011 Emmy moments. See this video http://www.hellogals.com/2011-emmy-awards-round/v-4820-1
Eric Stonestreet rocks.
The Emmy's get it right...I stood up and cheered for Friday Night Lights, Emmy for writing and for Kyle Chandler and best supporting actor to Peter Dinklage (my son told me he was a sure bet!), whatever. Shows that don't pander and assume the intelligence of the audience (yea, it's been said over and over again). I stood up and cheered for these awards.
What about Curb your Enthusiasm, Michael J Fox was an excellent guest. It's better than those dumb shows that were nominated.
I hope Modern Family takes home all the emmys the show is nominated for...But what I dont understand is why there isnt a lead actress and lead actor nom for Modern family....All the actors are all nominates for the same emmy??????
Even the BET awards are more diverse than the emmys.
Retards, Black people dont own BET anymore
can we nominate at least one black person next time.
Where's William H. Macy for Shameless?
CONAN!
Where is Michael Pitt from Board Walk Empire or Justified and The Killing as best drama...love that Margo Martindale is nominated ...
How come "Breaking Bad" wasn't nominated for anything? It's one of the best shows on. Can't wait til Sunday night, new season starts.
How is two and a half men not in best comedy series??? that is absurd the show has me laughing the whole episode.
where is Raising Hope for best comedy series????????????
"Mad Men" and "Modern Family" deserve to win.
What happened to Parenthood? The best drama series on Network TV.
THANK-YOU! I was wondering the same thing exactly. Parenthood definitely should have been included.
Glad to see Peter Dinklage was nominated for Game of Thrones. Would have been nice to see Sean Bean get a nod as well. Can't wait until next season!
"Bones" is a better, more well wriiten, better ensemble cast, better storyline and all around better quality show than all these crappy shows that were nominated. Where's the love for "Bones"? Get with it!!!
aren't these the same nominated shows from last year? I think the Emmys are reruns. What about the Killing? The Walking Dead, what about "Treme'?
Who watches 30 Rock other then pompois ass Baldwin?Who really thinks Betty White and Alex Baldwin are funny WHO?
Which show has the largest amount of viewers, NCIS or Man Men? Case closed .
Put a dress on White ......she looks awful in pant suits
Betty White is hilarious and an icon. You are an idiot.
Alec Baldwin can raise an eyebrow and be funnier than half the comic actors on TV. The guy is genius; and lest we forget, "Schweddy Balls," too.
No Finding Bigfoot nominee?? Robbed, I say, robbed!
it's TV congratulating TV who really care? 12 and 15 yo boys and girls?
No NCIS at all ? #1 drama series week after week . How does that happen .
Alex Baldwin & Betty White are as funny as a car crash . I wish they wiuld both go away . 30 Rock? What a piece of crap .
I love the Big Bang Theory!!!!!
I love it, too, but with Steve Carell leaving The Office, he's probably a shoo-in for the award.
So glad Melissa McCarthy and Johnny Galecki were nominated this year!!! Steve or Alec will probably take that category though.
It's time Friday Night Lights got the recognition it so richly deserves. Hopefully this year they will be rewarded. One of the finest dramas ever on television.
I agree. I love that show and I'm upset that it's going to be over after this season.
That dan is one incredible guy !
I agree with you 100 percent dan ! Those who dont are just jealous of your supreme greatness !
Dont you listen to them dan. You are THE BEST ! Look at all the cool post saying how incredible you are ! 1 or 2 ignorant loosers are just jealous of your greatness ! YOU our good dan R U L E !
Of all the brilliant actors inTrue Blood, Alfre Woodard gets a nom for a total of 4 minutes in like 2 episodes? BIZARRE. Don't get me wrong, love me some Alfre, but really???
Come on Mike&Molly is the Number 2 Comedy on TV and only one nomination!!! It's a great show and it proves you don't have to be stick thin with plastic body parts to be a good actor or actress. The entire cast is great and deserves to be awarded at least each category nomination.
How did "Boardwalk Empire" get a nod for best drama over "justified" and "The Killing"! NO WAY!!
"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"? Where is my man Daniel Tosh & Tosh.0
Community should have gotten some nominations
Where is Justified. This show has great writing with an excellent cast but nothing for Best Drama? At least a few actors were nominated.
How about "Human Centipede 2" starring the entire Palin family? Also, Michele Bachmann will be "bringing up the rear".
Once again NCIS (or even highly rated spinoff NCIS: LA) were not nominated for a single Emmy, yet look at how long running and highest ratings. Morons.
It amazing. I dont watch any of the shows listed. I would love to show how my shows are ranked in all this...
The Kennedy's? Seriously? Did they even WATCH it?
Hopefully Andre Braugher will win the Supporting Actor Emmy for Men of a Certain Age. He should have gotten it last year. It's also a shame this show hasn't been nominated in more categories.
What about "The walking dead"? No love there???
Dan, you are such an idiot that only you agree with you. Northern Exposure was and still is one of the most banal pieces of crap ever seen on television. It couldn't have been any worse if Tom Green had starred in it.
Where is How I met your Mother? That is one of the best shows going. I wanna make a slap bet with the idiots that passed over giving them a nod.
Couldn't agree more. I think the show is TEN THOUSAND times better than Big Bang Theory. Also, NPH should get a supporting actor nod.
LOVE How I Met Your Mother. And like Lily sometimes, I admit to a girl crush on Robin. Dang, that woman's beautiful!
For those of you wondering about Cloris Leachman in the Comedy Guest Actress category, the rule is: "Comedy/Drama series guest performers with 'guest star' billing, or who are contracted as such, are
eligible in the guest performer categories without regard to the number of episodes he/she appeared in."
Why wasn't True Blood nominated for anything? Why are high quality fantasy shows shunned while crap like Two & A Half Men and The Kennedy's get nominations. The Emmy's should stop being so predictable and bland. At least Boardwalk Empire was nominated, one of the few programs that deserved it.
Stephen NObert is a loooser. Only tards watch his program. And weeeiners. Anthony Weeeiners that is. Nobody cool likes the daily show anymore.
Dude-learn how to spell.
another price for the Whites only club.
@ Mary B
Do you need to get a new pair of glasses. I clearly see a number of Black actors nominated for Emmy's. What I fail to see is Asian and South American or a number of other races begin nominated. So check yourself before you write anything.
SMH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sofia Vergara ?? it´s similar to J Lo as a judge in AI ......ridiculous ...two minutes of Concheta Ferell are funiest than a hole season of Sofia Vergara ....
Oh yeah. DId I mention how incredible you are our great dan? Easily the most informed and wonderful poster of all time! You are our hero ! YAAAAAY DAN !
Colbert and the Daily Show are nominated for Outstanding variety, music or comedy series, but why is Fox news not? Fair is fair! Darn liberal media!
Can you please explain to me how Faux News is fair? They are so obvious about their conservativism. If you are going to criticize one side, you have to equally criticize the other side if you're going to claim that you're fair and balanced. Colbert and Stewart are continuously nominated, because they are good quality programming...good writing and good personalities.
@Deb-time to turn on the sarcasm detector.
And the award for best phone taps goes to..........
Though I laugh anytime I watch Fox news due to its ridiculous bias, they aren't attempting to be funny... They actually believe the stories they make up. I'm pretty confident they aren't supposed to be considered variety, comedy, or musical?? Just a simple observation...
Dan, you are so incredible ! I agree with you 100 percenmt. NORTHERN EXPOSURE truly was the greatest show in television history. TV writers today are braindead airheads that are probably tards.
And your use of the word "tard" show's no class, a ton of stupidity and ignorance.
I can't believe no one mentioned shameless. William h masey cmon
No Treme! The Emmys are garbage. They constantly nominate the same shows. What can be expected? I think they don't like David Simon's work. They snubbed "The Wire" and now "Treme". Khandi Alexander deserved a nod for her performance this season. SMDH at the Emmys!
agreed, to say that Khandi Alexander was a snub is an understatement. performance of a lifetime in season 2
I guess only U.S. shows are eligible for Emmys, but I love British show Doctor Who. The sci-fi TV writers in this country should watch that show to see how creative and entertaining sci-fi should be.
as much as i love and watch a good number of the shows being nominated, i kind of don't care much for awards shows because pretty much the same programs and people get nominated every year. how about a little more diversity? there are a ton of amazing shows and actors who get little recognition.
Hoarders or Kathy Griffin should win the reality series. Hoarders is addicting and Kathy Griffin is ridiculous funny.
How can they ignore John Noble on Fringe year after year? The man is an amazing actor. Once again all of the nominees are either very popular network shows/actors, "highly praised" premium cable offerings or movie actors who take a TV guest role. I thought the Emmys were awards for the best in TV – not a popularity contest.
Come on emmy people, give some love to Fringe and the amazing John Noble, what the hell is wrong with you ?
'Mad Men' is the best show out there right now. Not sure how Boardwalk Empire gets so much praise. To me, it's a snoozer.
I agree, I love Mad Men. I tried to pick up Boardwalk Empire since the season gap of Mad Men, but honestly after the pilot, I could have cared less. It was well filmed but went no where.
Survivor wasnt too good but it was still better than any of these shows. Plus NORTHERN EXPOSURE was a hundred trillion times better than any of these. Instead of making new things that stiiink just show reruns. Norther Exposure would win in every category even as a rerun.
Northern Exposure? Put away that crack pipe dude. That has to be one of the most boring, pretentious shows on television since thirtysomething. If you really think Northern Exposure is better than anything on TV then you have some serious issues.
Dan, yes!!!!!!!!!!! Northern Exposure the best thing on TV, ever.
Antiques Roadshow baby!!!
American Pickers!!!!
John Noble of "Fringe" ROBBED AGAIN! What is wrong with these people?? There was NO BETTER acting this season. Or last.
Blah. Same old names.
Agreed. It's too sci-fi for them i guess. I am glad Justified got some nods – Davies & Coggins are fantastic. Also, Dinklage should win for Game of Thrones easy.
So sick of hearing about "Big Bang Theory" and "2 and 1/2 Men"... gotta be 2 of the worst shows on cable. How I Met Your Mother is soooooooooo much better – acting and writing wise.
John Noble - Awesome actor. He makes Fringe a must-see show for me.
No "Sons of Anarchy"?? Boo.
Agreed! How can they overlook Sons of Anarchy???
It's TV – who cares?
People that watch and appreciate quality programming. Who cares about you?
What??? True Blood gets on nomination??? B.S.
I agree! I cannot believe none of the main stars got nominated...ridiculous! Pam? Arlene? Great performances!
Love me some Pam.
As much as I love True Blood, Season 3 wasn't exactly spectacular as compared to the first two seasons. There is no doubt that the cast is stellar, but the material they had to work with in Season 3 just didn't capture the audience's attention as compared to the first two. Season 4 has started promisingly, so perhaps Emmy nominations will be had for all for Season 4!
That's one more nomination than it deserves.
True Blood has an outstanding story line. That's pretty much it. They ended and started every episode last season with over the top screaming. It didnt make sense
. Actors are terrible. If anyone watches this and thinks something other than Midnight SOAP, please explain.
Still...I love it
Breaking Bad deserves to win an emmy award.
They had no season this year. It just started.
Agreed..Great show.
Cloris Leachman for Guest Actress? Wasn't she in every single episode of Raising Hope? Can you be a "guest" for an entire season?
Shouldn't the Cloris Leachman nom fall in the supporting actress category????
Actually, you can, depending on how your contract is worded. Some actors/actresses demand "special guest star" billing even though they appear in every episode. Other examples are Heather Locklear in Melrose Place, and Jonathan Harris (Dr. Smith) in Lost in Space.
And Edward Hermann was a special guest on Gilmore Girls for 7 seasons!
I wish that Always Sunny in Philadelphia would be recognized for its genius writing. Comedy gold my friends, comedy gold.
FLIP FLIP FLIP A DELFIA
Agreed!
I AGREE 100%! GENIUS SHOW!!!!!!!!!
stomp clap, stomp stomp clap
The thing is...you don't know anything about bird law.
While it was still good, last season really wasn't one of its better years.
"Uh, later dudes. S you in your A's. Don't wear a C. And J all over your B's."
THE EMMY seems to be an exclusive FOR WHITES ONLY CLUB.
Um, everyone on It's only sunny IS white. I like the show, but I think it is overrated by its hard-core fans.
@ Mary B
Do you need to get a new pair of glasses. I clearly see a number of Black actors nominated for Emmy's. What I fail to see is Asian and South American or a number of other races begin nominated. So check yourself before you write anything.
SMH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE EMMY seems to be an exclusive FOR WHITES ONLY CLUB.
That's because the BLACKS ONLY CLUB is on BET.
Raising hope is my favorite new show and it should def be nominanted... i think Cloris Leachman and Martha Plimpton should take home the rewards...but i agree with Paul, Always Sunny should have been nominated....its hysterical and the cast is very talented.
"kitten mittens!"
