Three get canned from Chelsea Handler sitcom

Three get canned from Chelsea Handler sitcom

Viewers haven't had the chance to see Natalie Morales, Angel Laketa Moore or Jo Koy in NBC's comedy "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea," and the network would like to keep it that way.

According to TVLine, the trio of actors were let go from Chelsea Handler's semi-autobiographical sitcom (drawn from her book of the same name) and their characters are heading back to the drawing board.

A spokesperson for the show cites "creative reasons" as to why the three won't be moving forward with the show, which is slated to debut in the midseason.

"That '70s Show" star Laura Prepon, meanwhile, is staying in the lead role of Chelsea Handler. Morales was supposed to play her best friend, whereas Moore and Koy had been tapped to portray her sports bar co-workers. Preview clip is below:

Jamie Foxx on 'Django': Should be amazing

Quentin Tarantino has a certain signature with his films, and Jamie Foxx says you should expect no less from “Django Unchained.”

The 43-year-old Oscar winner landed the role of the titular character, a freed slave who sets off on a mission to rescue his lady love Broomhilda from a sadistic owner with the help of a German bounty hunter. Tarantino is calling it a “southern” film, according to Time.

Big changes for 'True Blood's' bad boy

Big changes for 'True Blood's' bad boy

Editor’s note: This post contains spoilers for the July 3 episode of HBO’s "True Blood."

Last night’s episode introduced us to the season’s number one storyline as we said goodbye to the Eric we know and love. Breathe into a bag, y’all. We’ll get through the rain together.

The icy Swede’s latest real estate investment led Sookie to traipse across the cemetery to Bill’s place to air her grievances. Bill told her that she was S.O.L and alluded to Eric having friends in high places, whatever that means. He also suggested that because of the whole delicious fairy blood thing, Sookie should seek refuge at someone else’s home. I would seek it with Alcide. Just sayin’.
