'Thor' gets a sequel, but no Branagh"Thor" is set to wield his hammer once again. According to Entertainment Weekly, the god of thunder is slated to return in a sequel already scheduled for July 26, 2013. Deadline reports that Chris Hemsworth is on board to reprise his role as the mythological warrior (hopefully his costume won’t be too tight, this time) but not director Kenneth Branagh. Although Marvel Studios didn’t comment as to what's up with Branagh and “Thor 2," EW notes that he didn’t seem to be thinking about a sequel at the film’s premiere. “You hear about people saving things for film two or three,” he told the magazine. “I don’t understand that at all. I put it all in there if I thought it’d help the film be better. You can think of stuff for two or three later, if you get the chance to do them. But you won’t if one isn’t good enough.” "Thor 2" will arrive just months after "Iron Man 3," which will bow on May 3, 2013.

No originality in movies any longer. Most are remakes of old classics. Nowadays another method to making movies is to raid the comic books! With CG involvement in movies it is easy to make these epic type movies with all the action and special effects. It was cool once, but is getting old quickly. It would be nice to see something original.

dude hostel has only the 2 movies with a 3rd one Maybe happening, tho direct to dvd. its saw that has like seven movies in the franchise. the first is the best of the lot..

I walked into a friendly cow the other day. We had a good chat up until i tipped it over then he started running after me. i had to hop a fence which i tore a hole in the backside of pants and my butt was in full view. it turned out to be a full moon that night
I liked the gore in resident evil where the laser defense system sliced and diced part of the insertion team.

@Fernace: Yeah after a while I lose interest. Same as Friday the 13th. Never saw them all. I think one was where Jason went into space, never saw it. Hostel 2, ehh.. wasn't as good as the first one. Tom Hanks, funny movies, hippos and happy cows, are all good too

Torture p0rn movies are soooooo 2005. Get with the times man. Movies like Saw and Hostel had their chance, pumped out their 10 plus sequels in the span of like 2 years, made their pile of money and should never be thought of or mentioned again.
if the saw movies were so good there would have been monkeys in them. plus more jokes. monkeys are funny. the saw movies were creeeepy. not funny at all. for comedies they stunk.

Hostel and Wrong Turn were sick but great movies. Saw were great also, but I lost track of how many are out there. The last Saw movie I watched, was the one where he was dying (if I remembered correctly, the girl was doing the killing).

YEAH! Another Hostel movie would rule! Maybe they could do a prequel. Hostel 2 was kind of dumb. Not enough action. That first one was jim dandy good though. Summertime is for scary movies.
Thor 1 was cruddy enough. Why make a Thor 2? Instead they need to make a Hostel 3 in 3D with extra added gore. Maybe Rob Zombie or someone could help out with it. More Gore equals More Better.

It's because people like you they make bad movies! Really a no plot all gore movie in 3D? And Rob Zombie!?!? Everything that man does is crap. Keep going with the comic movies and screw the rest!
Well that kinda sucks. I like what Branagh did with "Thor". My only issue was I wish the whole movie was in Aasgard. It kinda got boring on Earth.
