Bryan Cranston, you're not alone - "True Blood's" Stephen Moyer totally gets the sock-on-set situation.
The “Breaking Bad” star revealed to CNN at the premiere of “Larry Crowne” on Monday that while Julia Roberts kept some clothes on for a sexy scene, Cranston was robed in nothing but a sock.
“I wish I was wearing a body sock...It went over one specific part of my body. I'm not kidding…I filled up about an eighth of it.”
So when he and Roberts are filming their scene, “she’s wearing sweats under the sheets. I'm lying on top of her. I am absolutely naked with the exception of the special sock!” Cranston recalls. “And she's the one who's embarrassed? I'm like, what do you have to be embarrassed about? You're in a sweat suit! And ['Crowne' director] Tom [Hanks] is trying to put the covers down so it looks like she could be naked. It was so much fun. We were having a blast!"
Cranston also spilled some details about the new season of “Breaking Bad,” which kicks off on AMC on July 17.
His character “fully embraces who he really is now. He realizes that even the meekest person is capable of really dangerous acts,” Cranston explains. “And he's not saying I'm doing this for my family, I'm cooking crystal meth for my family, woe is me I have terminal lung cancer - there's none of that anymore. It's like, I know what I'm doing, and in a way, I'm okay with it."
“Larry Crowne” opens nationwide Friday.
