Critics are calling "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" as bleak and meaningless as its title, but some do say that Michael Bay's latest effort was at least better than the 2009 sequel.

The third installment features a grown-up Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) who teams up with the Autobots against the Decepticons in (of course) a battle of good versus evil involving a mission to the moon.

What would a “Transformers” movie be without a sexy girlfriend by Witwicky’s side? British model-turned-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley almost seamlessly replaces former co-star Megan Fox, who dropped out of the trilogy last May.

You can't escape Shia LaBeouf right now if you tried, and although Selena Gomez really did try to do exactly that in the clip below, it was only because she was taken by surprise. It turns out that the 18-year-old has a crush on the 25-year-old "Transformers" star.

In a video titled "Meeting Shia," the actress approached what she seemed to think would be a meeting with a fan cool, calm and collected - until she saw who was sitting in the room.

Gomez quickly fled the doorway in shock, but before she could get away, LaBeouf emerged.

A blessed event is putting a crimp in a planned film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie "Heroine" has been put on hold following reports that its star, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is pregnant.

“At this point nothing is more important than Aishwarya's well being and good health,” the movie's producers, UTV Motion Pictures, said in a statement. “In that context, we have all mutually agreed that the best step would be to avoid shooting further, rather than proceeding with an incredibly demanding schedule over the coming months.” FULL POST

If "The Smurfs" movie doesn't do enough to revive her career, perhaps Smurfette (voiced by Katy Perry in the film) could consider modeling.

The character from the classic cartoon added some high fashion panache to her usual white dress in the August issue of Harper's Bazaar (yup, the one with Anne Hathaway on the cover.)

In one photo, she rocks a $685 beret and a $4,695 bag from Marc Jacobs, while another sees her stepping into the socks and stilettos trend with a $995 bag from Dolce & Gabbana, complete with $225 earrings and a $225 cuff. (Those black socks you see with the red shoes are the stylist's own.)

Fearful you'll go through "The Voice" withdrawal once the show wraps up? Well, there's now a summer concert to ease the pain.

It looks like the NBC show is taking a hint from fellow reality singing competition “American Idol” (and, to some extent, “Glee,”) and taking “The Voice” out on the road for a tour starting July 27.

Celebrity “Voice” coach Adam Levine let it slip in a tweet on Monday, and Carson Daly confirmed the news on Tuesday's night episode. You'll get to see finalists from this season, including Javier Colon, Beverly McClellan, Vicci Martinez, Dia Frampton, Frenchie Davis, Casey Weston and Xenia.

Madame Tussauds is in the business of making wax figures that resemble their famous counterparts but the job they did on Alicia Keys' statue went so well, the multiple Grammy winner could hardly believe her eyes.

"I actually think it's really, really good!" she told MTV News when she paid the figure a visit at Madame Tussauds New York.

"I was looking close up: It's like my eyebrows are for real, and it's like my eyes are for real, and the bone structure of my chin," Keys goes on, "like, 'Look, that's my chin! That's my jaw!'

As we ponder how the upcoming season of “How I Met Your Mother” will shake out, here’s a new tidbit to chew on.

Following “Kids in the Hall” alum Dave Foley’s guest role as Marshall’s (Jason Segel) potential new boss, CBS has tapped Martin Short to become the real deal...at least for a while.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Short, who’s known for his hilarious antics but recently has taken on a few dramatic roles, will have a multi-episode arc as Marshall’s boss at an environmental law firm.

The 61-year-old “Saturday Night Live” star has been racking up the small screen roles, with guest spots on “Damages” and the new season of Showtime’s “Weeds,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Nightmares are bad enough when they’re unrealistic. I can’t imagine dreaming about someone in a hooded sweatshirt cornering my friends and me in a dark movie theater, only to wake up knowing the event could actually happen. Foreshadowing, perhaps?

They've made up in the past but Tea Leoni and David Duchovny are once again going their separate ways.

A rep for Leoni, 45, tells CNN that reports of the couple splitting up are true.

It's not the first time for the pair, who have been married for 14 years, as they previously separated for months in 2008. At the time the 50-year-old "Californication" actor had undergone treatment for sex addiction, according to People, but Duchovny and Leoni then reconciled their relationship soon after.

The couple have two children together, 12-year-old Madelaine West and 9-year-old Kyd.

Bryan Cranston, you're not alone - "True Blood's" Stephen Moyer totally gets the sock-on-set situation.

The “Breaking Bad” star revealed to CNN at the premiere of “Larry Crowne” on Monday that while Julia Roberts kept some clothes on for a sexy scene, Cranston was robed in nothing but a sock.

“I wish I was wearing a body sock...It went over one specific part of my body. I'm not kidding…I filled up about an eighth of it.”
