Oprah: I want O.J. to confess to me

Her iconic talk show may be over, but Oprah Winfrey still has a dream interview.

“I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me,” Winfrey said. “And I am going to make that happen, people.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the remarks were made during a Q & A at the National Cable and Telecommunications Association's annual Cable Show held at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center.

Paula Zahn, host of "Investigation Discovery," interviewed Winfrey Thursday, and the talk show host discussed being committed to growing her OWN network and that elusive guest she still wants to book.

“I don’t just want the interview,” Winfrey said. “I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson.”

She is theforce that brings love between priests and small boys. She is is the divine inspiration for homely housewives and white people that want black friends...

The Number 1 reason OJ will tell the truth! is because his heart has been telling him to and he must to relieve himself from the hellish mental torture he's been surrounded by for so many years. Did you know he has been wanting to tell you and share with you all the real truth? for many many years? Mr. Simpson knows he's in two prisions, and one of them he will walk away from the moment he speaks to Oprah. You will witness a Good Man who has done a Terable act lay down his heart, and speak the truth to you all.

Actually you are wrong the term you are looking for is a defense tactic called double jeopardy, which is in the fifth amendment. It states "[no person shall] be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb". Basically if you have been already acquitted of a crime it forbids your from being tried again for the same or similar crime, even if new evidence is brought to light. Now there are some exceptions to this, but you will have to read them yourself.

The black community...no because even if he did confess to Oprah they'd view it as him just saying he did it to cash in.

In the end it wouldn't change a damn thing Ron and Nicole will still be dead, The Juice can't be retried for the murders so he still get's away with murder and the public will have futher proof that our judicial system is not even close to perfect, but we already knew that!

I could care less if OJ did it or not, but I'll admit to you that if he was going to go on air to talk about it and confess... I'd watch. You would too. Just because this is something that she still dreams of doing does not justify all the hate that is in here. GET A LIFE PEOPLE!

Only God can judge! O.J. was found not guilty in a court of law. Like it or not that was enough for me, you or anyone else. I don't see you going after these old time KKK men who killed our people like we were animals. Put your money to use doing good and stop making trouble Oprah.

I believe OJ Simpson either did it or he knew who did it or he showed up while it was being done or after it was being done. Bottom line: OJ was there!

But here is my problem with Oprah Winfrey: She is desperate for viewership on her new cable station, and is willing to use OJ's name to score viewership, but especially white viewership. How else can anyone interpret her saying she will get OJ to confess to the double homicide in an interview with her, if not to reach white people? Does she think Black or Hispanic people really want to hear OJ confess?

Oprah does not know when to hold and when to fold, and I give her OWN network one more year before it goes belly-up for want of solid materials to capture audiences.

Let it go people. This was damn near 15 years ago. You do not have a vested interest in this trial or it's outcome. A woman got killed. Get over it. Many more have been killed since then and I don't see you crying over them.

If we stopped being so celebrity obsessed as a society, whatever injustice you think may have occured because of Mr. Simpson's celebrity. If police didn't have a history of framing people – particularly non-white people – the inconsistencies in the prosecution's story wouldn't have produced "reasonable doubt". Remember, this wasn't a hung jury. All 12 came back and said he was not guilty.

Bottom line is either you believe in the justice system or you don't. You can't NOT BELIEVE in it when it suits your purposes. Let it go.

Hi all and peace unto you. My name is Jeshurun. It has been given to me by God. The Lord has called me and ordained me as one of two end of days witnesses (prophets). In Nov 2007 God called me. The Lord led me into the mountains of Washington state; before God was done with me I found myself walking down a body of water dragging the soles of my slippers along the stones; close to the end of this walk were two witnesses and their dogs; at the end of this walk the Holy Ghost instructed me to say this, "it is done". Those three words are in the book of Revelation 2 times. I did not know that then. The walk lasted from sunrise until sunset. The walk is from and of God. It is holy. May 24 2011 the abomination of desolation was set up. On July 11 2011 blessing will be received. The beast spoken of in the book of Revelation will arise out of Iran. Folks if you have Jesus Christ in your hearts you will fare these times just fine; stand on that rock; continue in your faith and press into the word. If you do not have Jesus in your lifes I beg of you to seek him out. He is not far from any of us. He is quick to hear and quick to heal. If you refuse to believe in God and his Christ I am sorry but you have been deceived..walk in Christ..I love you all, God loves you more..watch and pray always..our redemption is at the doors.

Ok. Trip city. Okay I seriously hope this remark was taken out of some weird context. Or my question to Oprah would be..."Why YOU Oprah? I know you and God are like besties...but I would think If OJ does any confessing AT all it would be to GOD or himself. IF this remark is really from Oprah, then all I can say is does Oprah even talk to black men? Really, Sister Really? I guess she must be playing to her white audiences again as usual. And yes I am a Black woman.

@RapBone Actually the physical evidence in the O.J. case was what led the jury to the not guilty verdict. The video of the room with no sock at 4:00 then with a bloody sock at 4:15, through and through blood on the socks but they were supposed to be on someones foot, preservatives in the blood found, not able to determine time of death from the medical examiner with 2 bodies, a bowl of half melted ice cream on the coffee table at Nicole Simpsons house at 3:30am, the bruno mali shoes that were never found to match with a footprint at the crime scene, the bloody glove found in the middle of a back yard in the dark but no blood drops leading to where they were dropped on anywhere at the Simpsons home, the vial of blood that was taken from OJ and delivered 4 hours later only 3/4's full when the location it was taken at and where it was supposed to be delivered were 2 blocks away and a police officer who admitted he took it to the home. Oh and the bloody glove didn't even fit the hands of OJ and they didn't shrink. All this was presented to the Jury who found him when asked by the Judge How do you find this defendant stated "Not Guilty"

OJ won because he paid for the most expense defense team he could buy. Robert Shapiro left the team because he knew OJ was guilty. And OJ won because people believed Johnny Cochran's "if it doesn't fit, you must acquit" which made no sense but the prosecution did such a poor job they got away with it. The REASON the glove didn't fit OJ because it was saturated with blood for two years and dried, and that made the glove unfittable. How does someone explain away the shoe prints from a pair of shoes of which only twelve pair were made in the world, and OJ was the only US citizen to own a pair? Explain that. OJ is guilty, all his attorneys knew it. He should confess, and then drop dead.

I could be wrong. But, Jason disliked Nicole, was a chef and had access to professional cutting utensils and has mental problems. I might be led to believe that O.J. is protecting his son.

I can't believe the Hate, Racism and nonsensical rants being spouted on this board. Oprah Winfrey is a fine American and can proud of her show, as she has handled many topics over 25 years with dignity, concern, love and understanding. Many of the people spouting off have admitted that they have never watched the show, that is what is wrong with our country, people that know NOTHING about a subject never fail to give their opinion, and many get their opinions from loud mouths like the ones on here, instead of viewing, reading, listening and then forming an opinion of their own about any subject, they get on threads or gossip about subjects they know nothing about. Get an education people, our country needs you. And Oprah, I would like to say Good Luck and Thank you for all that you have done over the years. So what Oprah is saying is she doesn't believe that someone is presumed innocent until proven guilty? Interesting...

    June 17, 2011 at 2:47 pm | Report abuse |
    • sbp

Uh, no, a person is NOT presumed innocent until proven guilty – that's ONLY in the courtroom. He's already been acquitted, so there will not be another chance to prove him guilty. Accordingly, think about what you are saying. If OJ does confess, will you cover your ears and scream "you are innocent, you are innocent! I don't care what you say, the jury's verdict causes history to reshape itself to reflect their verdict! "

Stop calling him guilty in a country where black men have been accused and convicted of things they never did and went to jail for it, died for it, were lynched for it. I love how people are trying to interpret the LAW in their own manner. You are INNOCENT until proven guilty, so if he was acquitted then he is INNOCENT but it is interesting how people are allowing this country to devolve into a police state. Everyone likes to assume that you are GUILTY until you are proven innocent, but wait until one day the police arrest you and throw up charges just to get their stats up and get that fat end-of-year bonus.

This was racism plain and simple. To the people who say O.J. was found innocent! You are wrong, he was found not guilty and there is a difference. The jury could not convict on the evidence presented. A factual finding of innocence was never declared and rarely is. The prosecution was flawed and that's why he was not convicted. The defense got the dumbest people in L.A. on the jury and that's how O.J. got off.

A few years ago Oprah had an "expert" on prejudice on the show. The expert ran an experiment to show how prejudice works. After the experiment was over and the discussion started the expert tried to start the experiment again. This shows a lack of professionalism. did Oprah try to get the discussion back on track no. But here comes the winning part of the game. I wrote to complain about the lack of professionalism and the poor display by both the expert and Oprah. A few days later what happens, I get a call from one of the producers. the discussion started out with me bing asked if I would come on the show, then it degraded on her part by trying to get me to admit I was a red neck bigot. Not likely. I had just spent over 16 years working for and with people of other races, and my wife is of a different race. So where is the real prejudice?
This is a woman who refuses to take responsibility for what she does and tries to buy a following. Where does she get off thinking she is important enough to have anyone confess to her?.

WOW!! I remember watching her show when he was apprehended and her supporting him as a maligned black man. I also remember her saying that there was anger towards white women for marrying black men. Kind of holding onto the black public attack on Nicole Brown (the murder victim) as justified. I was very disappointed in her extreme bias that blinded her to the increasingly violent attacks that are the mark of a true domestic abuser.

I read that she went to a famous store in London, after closing.. And wanted to be let in after hours to buy a gift, for Tina Turner ( I think thats who it was for) But the store told her "no" that they were having a private party and that she would be welcome to come back the next day.. But they would not interfere with the party to accommodate her..
She left and made a statement to the effect , that it was because she was a black woman..
I was stunned.. Even at the time Oprah had the hugest following of any other talk show host on TV... And yet she goes straight to it being racist..Instead of thinking just maybe, she was being unfair based on who she thinks she is.. after all..Who is she to wreck some one else's party?

It is amazing that so many people are automatically convinced that he was guilty of the crime. Nothing says he DID do it and the jury just gave him a one time get out of jail free card. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't.....but most everyone wants to believe what Fred Goldman said, because he is some kind of phropet or something....geeez how easily people are taken into what someone tells them without having the facts. Not everyone knows what all the facts are....only people that truly know what happened on that night is what OJ, Nicole and the Goldman kid know from being there....quit assuming that he IS guilty cause none of you were there

    Dearest Oprah:

How times have changed. Why do you want an "innocent man" to confess? Go back and pull the footage of your shows especially the one(s) you had with the jurors. You seemed to pander to the jurors on you show as I recall especially when one of them said the OJ case had nothing to do with "domestic violence." You totally patronized the jurors (can't remember how many–may have just been one on your show) and showed support for OJ, Mr. Innocent. You lost my respect right after that because I felt your reporting was very biased–you're smart–you knew OJ committed the crimes. It's too bad that the jury had a lot of uneducated jurors who served. Do you think they were going to understand DNA evidence and the incredible odds about blood match, etc. that implicated Mr. Simpson? So now....you want OJ to confess? For what? Your cable ratings or for justice?

Ok Robby they had DNA back then, explain why that exonerated him? Please, OJ's accusers seem to conveniently forget about the DNA. Do your research and then come back and speak intelligently about a mans innocence and/or guilt. He was rendered not guilty because he was NOT GUILTY. It is so sad that because of racism, this man had to be guilty of this crime in the white world. I pray before any of us that lived during that time get to see the real killer of Mrs. Simpson, I hope I am living to hear all the people who more or less castrated him because of this tragedy will also be alive to hear the truth. Robby erroneously thinks: BUT an almost all-black jury, an incompetent prosecutor and judge Ito, all compelled a conspiracy to find OJ "not guilty" which DOES NOT mean innocent!

A fundamental principle of American criminal jurisprudence is that the accused enters the courtroom an innocent man. If found "not guilty," he leaves the same way. Therefore, O.J. Simpson is an innocent man, whether you think so or not.

Look..there is nothing good that will come of this. Did Oprah bother to ask the Goldman family how they felt about rehashing it. Will any of the deceased get their lives back? So why does the media continue to bring these murders up? Oprah should be ashamed, and she should ask herself, would she want the media to constantly bring up such a horrible tragedy if it occurred in her life? When is enough, enough? When will the family's affected be allowed a time to heal and try to move on without having it shoved in their faces over and over? How many times does the public have to be reminded of our flawed justice system. Get a grip Oprah. Respect for human lives that are living with the pain of the tragic loss of a loved one will always trump sensationalism. Where is Oprah's sense of class???

A jury of his peers ACCQUITTED Mr. Simpson of the crime of murder. A civil trial conviction IS NOT the same thing (especially a conviction garnered in Simi Valley, CA where less thatn 1/2 of 1% is black, hispanic or latino. Certainly not a place where you have a representative jury of Mr. Simpson's peers). For Oprah to push her agenda for ratings is not only disgusting, but diametrically opposed to our legal system. This case is the longest running bs soap opera in the history of the U.S.A. Why? I don't get it. Is it because a black man had the wealth, noteriety and influence to use the legal system the way rich white men having been doing for 100's of years? Every year since the accquittal, this case gets rehashed and brought up over and over. Frankly, it's ridiculous! I am NOT an O.J. Simpson or Oprah fan. Frankly, I would love to see both of them go away and not be heard from for a long time. I got my wish when O.J. was dumb enough to play thug gang banger and try to "get my s%^t back". Get over it people. O.J. hated his wife but he lucked up and she was killed by someone else.
O.J. was not that smart or in good shape to do what he did.Plus, the LAPD screwed up by tainting evidence and planting it too!!
OJ's cut was on his right hand and there was blood on the car door knob where u would open the door.
Your thumb would have to be on the right side to open the door, not the left for that model and make of car he had.
That was the 1st piece of evidence that led me to believe police wrong doing.
Then as the late great johnny c. pointed out,OJ's socks that were on the floor that he took off when he got home had a matching blood stained "shape" on both sides!! I can see blood on your sock on one side and the ankle or foot blocking it from getting to the other side but to have it on both sides and the same shape? ARE U KIDDING ME??

You're wrong. The cut was on OJ's left hand, not his right hand so your whole argument regarding the cut being on his right hand is wrong. Yet, I'm sure that won't change your wrong-headed view that OJ didn't commit the murders of Nicole and Ron Goldman.

The one who dies with the most toys WIINS??? That's not how I remember it....more like:

He Who Dies With The Most Toys... Loses!
Luke 12:15-21 (Phi) ..."Be on your guard against covetousness in any shape or form. For a man's real life in no way depends upon the number of his possessions... A rich man's farmland produced heavy crops. So he said to himself, 'What shall I do, for I have no room to store this harvest of mine?' Then he said, 'I know what I'll do. I'll pull down my barns and build bigger ones where I can store all my grain and my goods and I can say to my soul, Soul, you have plenty of good things stored up there for years to come. Relax! Eat, drink, and have a good time!' But God said to him, 'You fool, this very night you will be asked for YOUR SOUL!...' That is what happens to the man who hoards things for himself and is not rich in the eyes of God."

Luke 16:19-31 (NIV) "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus... The beggar died and angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died... In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up... 'I am in agony in this fire.' But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony...' 'Then I beg you... I have five brothers... warn them so that they will not come to this place of torment.' 'They have Moses and the Prophets, let them listen to them.'"

Ps 49:16-19 (NIV) Do not be overawed when a man grows rich, when the splendor of his house increases; for he will take nothing with him when he dies, his splendor will not descend with him. Though while he lived he counted himself blessed–and men praise you when you prosper–he will join the generation of his fathers, who will never see the light of life.

Ecc 5:10-15 (NIV) Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless. As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owner except to feast his eyes on them? The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether he eats little or much, but the abundance of a rich man permits him no sleep. I have seen a grievous evil under the sun: wealth hoarded to the harm of its owner, or wealth lost through some misfortune... Naked a man comes from his mothers womb, and as he comes, so he departs...

Prov 11:4,28 (NIV) Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death... Whoever trusts in his riches will fall...

What does being black and being a female have to do with anything? I thought everyone was equal in today's standard. If people beg to differ, then why did they fight for equality to begin with. She's successful, yeah, but that's all the more reason OJ wouldn't confess to her.

Why don't you stop thinking the dislike for Oprah is based on her race or her wealth. The dislike for her has to do with her character. She herself is a raciist and has made her money out of publicly humiliating people on her show. I'd like to see another talk show host say they have a dream interview where Oprah confesses she is gay and Gail is her lover. Why is she insistent on putting OJ's kids through more than they have already been through. All that for ratings and her own ego boost. Get over yourself Oprah. Take your money, buy and Island somewhere and settle down there with Gail.

Oprah has obviously been out of the news for a while and feels the need to get back into the limelight again. If she really wants to interview someone, she should interview Nia Long and ask her why she is perpetuating the black woman stereotype by having another baby who will also grow up not knowing who the father is. But she won't do that unless she can find a spin that will make Nia look like she has been screwed over by a man

OJ is a malignant narcissist. Dr. Phil should have told Oprah that. Simpson will never fully admit to anything. His friends, who have been covering for him for the last 16 years, are the ones who should do the confessing. Al Cowlings in particular. These people know what happened, yet they keep their mouths shut. Oprah thinks very highly of herself that she can imagine any of them, especially OJ, telling her the truth in a televised interview.

Eeverybody know that OJ is guilty. It was never about guilt or innocence, it was more about race and class. Firstly, the only reason white people wer upset is beacuse the victims were white. If OJ had hacked up is first wife no one would care. Secondly, Black people were happy beacaue a black man did the unthinkable, used his money and exposed the system for what it really is and proved that justice is for sale. Used to be that if you were black that equaled guilt. OJ changed all of that. His case says that the only color that matters in America is the color green.

A man is no convicted in the court of law and people still think he's guilty. Michael Jackson was not convicted, yet they say he's still guilty. Robert Blake got off, no one speaks of him. Its' not only about the color green, it's also about the color black (which is not really a color, but I'm just saying). It all comes down to black and white. What O.J. should have done was keep himself quiet and stay out of the public eye, but he's annoying. I am apt to think he never did it because he's such a dummy, he would never think of doing something like that and getting away. He's just a dummy. Seriously. Ends up in jail for stealing his own stuff...that's hilarious!

Craig – I'm not saying there wasn't a race factor in the OJ trial but your comment is racist too. To say that white people only cared because Nicole Brown was white is completely inaccurate. This was a high profile football player – people would have cared no matter what color the victim's skin was. And maybe you like to believe that white people only care about white people and black people only care about black people, but that is not the way the majority of people operate. I'm sure there were some racist white people who would have thought he was guilty even if the evidence had pointed to someone else. But it goes both ways. The fact is that the evidence pointed to OJ, and not to anyone else. The evidence was overwhelming that he did it and his book was basically a confession. So this a man who murdered his wife. There really is no justification for people being happy he got away with it and I really doubt that very many people, black or white, DID feel that way. If people were happy with the acquittal it was because they believed he was being framed. Looking back now, I would hope they can see that that is not what happened and just be happy that he's doing time now for one of his many other misdeeds.

He IS guilty. He was acquitted in the criminal trial but found financially liable in the civil trial. He wrote a book about how he "hypothetically" killed her, with details consistent with the crime. Innocent people do NOT do that. He was messing with everyone and gloating because he got away with murder. His blood was found at the crime scene, Nicole's blood was found on a pair of his socks at his house, blood from both victims was found in the Bronco, and the glove left at the crime scene had blood from OJ and the two victims on it. There were bloody footprints made by a pair of size 12 boots and OJ wears size 12. The boots were identified as Bruno Maglis – which are rare. He denied owning the boots but later photos of him surfaced in which he was wearing boots that matched the floody footprint. These photos were from a time right before the murders. A man in dark sweats was seen at the murder scene, OJ returned home wearing dark sweats and was seen by his limo driver. OJ had threatened to kill his wife on numerous occasions and she had expressed prior to her murder that she feared he would kill her. If all of that wasn't enough or you believe the stories that police planted evidence, there was the car chase where OJ at one point held a gun to his own head. He failed a polygraph test, told conflicting stories concerning the cuts that were on his hand, and expressed no surprise on hearing that Nicole was dead. He settled on telling police that he had cut his hand while in Chicago, evidently on a glass found broken in his hotel room. This glass had no signs of blood on it. He also swore he's track down the real killer, yet never hired an investigator, and refused offers by private investigators to work for him for free.

His defense attorneys were excellent, the murder weapon was never found, and the prosecution, police officers, and forensic investigators were less than perfect. But he did it.

Sahra, His blood was not found at the the crime scene – It was planted at the crime scene by the dective and proven so by the FBI lab test. Then they took pictures of it claiming they had, that was also shown to have been taken, after the fact by the FBI. When the blood was examined it was shown to be blood taken at the police station after he was arrested. It had a preserative in it and the drawn blood had come up missing. Still guility, I think so, but the jury did there job right. Resonable doubt has to rule in our justice system. The detective should have been put in jail, not called a hero.

Oprah, since you're so sure that he's guilty, apparently you have some earth-shattering evidence that the prosecutors and jurors haven't seen. And no point sharing any evidence with THAT jury; they weren't interested in it. Though the picture of OJ at a Bills function wearing the same rare, expensive and large shoes he swore under oath he didn't own – you know, the ones that matched the bloody shoeprints – that was a bit of a smoking gun.

Are you serious? In the first trial, it was pure jury corruption that set him free. And he was convicted in the second trial. And he admitted it in his book. And multiple times over the years. SBP, one needs to be tried by a jury of PEERS. Do you have $400 million, are you a pro football Hall of Famer and a Hollywood actor? Do you really think a person with that kind of money and hangers on walks into a mall and does his own shopping? How many pairs of shoes do you think he owned, and do you think he bought every one of them? I'd bet he doesn't know half of what's in any of his closets. In the meantime, none of us was there, so no one can assert legal guilt outside the process itself.

I'm glad I don't live in your world, where someone can lose their liberty because you have decided someone's guilty. Legally, a citizen has the right to the presumption of innocence until PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW, not in the sophistry of your mind.

Bobby...silly, silly, naive Bobby. J...funny stuff. Given the vast public access to the court proceedings and the evidence as it was brought forth, one need only truly rely on intellect and reason to conclude, with reasonable certainty, the guilt of Simpson and the flaw in the system that resulted in his almost certain unjust acquital. Come on, now, let's not hide behind semantics and the perception that all process is beyond reproach. That would simply be incredibly naive. It would certainly be different if the entire charade wasn't open for public viewing. It really has nothing to do with some distorted public perception. Hell, even us really smart guys can see past the smoke and mirrors. PS, non-techie/non-thinkie, where in the world did you pull that $400 million figure from? The civil trial won a judgment against him for a mere $33 million and he has nowhere near the money to pay for that. Did you think his defense cost him all $400 million? What a dope.

And, just so you know, there is no "right" of citizens to be "innocent until proven guilty." Presumption of innocence is a legal standard reflecting the burden of proof and applies only in the courtroom and with respec to state action in depriving liberty.

As a matter of simple fact, a person is guilty if they commit the crime, and as soon as they commit it. If OJ did confess, would you scold him "you did not do it! The jury said you are innocent, so I don't believe your confession!"

In reference to the OJ confession, I don't want to be the one to bring bad news, but, OJ never committed murder, yes he had knowledge, and was there after the fact, but, he did not commit the crime. I have said from day one it was his Jason from a previous marriage.
I have been a teaching astrologer for the last 20 years and if you look at OJ birth chart there is no murder aspect there, however, if you look at Jason chart it shows a murder aspect. For those of you that don't believe astrology works that's fine, you don't have to believe in gravity for it to work, it works no mater what.

Common sense tells you the only way this low life O.J. would even consider doing this is if Oprah has offered him an obscene amount of money to do this. It sounds like they have already discussed this that is the only way she could say "I am going to make this happen.") The bum can't get a decent job due to his actions. Of course he would do it for $$$$$$ If this is the case and we will probably never know the truth about what low life was paid.Oprah this would be morally , ethically, and sinful I would not want that on my shoulders. Oj didn't get off because of a "dopey jury". He got off because he had the best attorneys money could buy. He got off because a racist cop, Fuhrman, decided to take the law into his own hands and PLANT evidence. He got off because the defense did a BETTER job. Of course he did it...he knows he did it....his book on how he WOULD of killed Ron and Nicole was a confession in itself....but never released, Thank God. The families have suffered enough....he will never go on TV and admit anything. He has his 2 kids to keep up the act for...he can not admit on TV he killed their mom. Ever heard of the book or show called:
OJ IS GUILTY BUT NOT OF MURDER!

(and I don't believe in Astrology like the lady above)

OJ's Son JASON had the Means, Motive & Opportunity to commit these horrible Murders.

Jason, had a motive. Working as a Chef at the upscale restaurant Jason had long been

planning a special Family Dinner for his honor of his half-sister Sydney's recital. Nicole

called him at the beginning of his day at work, that not only would OJ be excluded from the

family dinner, but that she preferred to go to a different restaurant where her good friend

Ron Goldman worked. Co-workers stated that after her call Jason was extremely upset.

He left work early that night and had no alibi for his whereabouts at the time of the Murders.

He carried his Chef's Knives to and from work and did so the night of the murders. He

never returned to his job and the Murder weapon was never found.

Jason has an Serious Anger Control Issues and had spent time in Psychiatric Wards once

stabbing himself in front of his Girlfriend who he threatened to kill.

Jason was diagnosed with intermittent Explosive Disorder and had been taking medication for

      5 years.

Jason was on parole for beating up a former employer.

OJ hired him a lawyer the day after the Murders.

It might appear that OJ took the rap for his son, maybe even blaming himself for Jason's

anger. Jason tried to be part of his half siblings lives but had always harboured

resentment since he was 7 when Nicole had split up his parents marriage at around the time

his brother died in pool accident.

The police had OJ in their sights as the killer and didn't bother to properly exclude

      others.

Either way, sad for you. And Christopher Darden (OJ's defense) before he died, said himself the man was guilty. It pretty much made him sick til the end of his life.

I can't believe that there are so many responders that still don't believe OJ was guilty. Just to remind them, being found not guilty is not the same as being innocent. Just goes to show what can happen when you have the best team of lawyers money can buy.

Proof of his guilt was the dog found running loose with blood on its paws. The Akita is an aggressive breed and would have attacked the killer, except that he knew him.

She's saved peoples lives. And even if it's only one, no matter what you think of her, it's probably more than you've done. If you dare to say she hasn't, watch tapes. (You won't, you know you'll be proven wrong) Sure she's had stupid shows, if you have a favorite late night host, they haven't? She deserves a bit of ego considering what she's done for herself. I doubt most of you could do it, and I'm talking about childhood up, which again, you know nothing about I'm sure. I'm not rabid on her tho I sound it, It's just the show I've managed to catch have been mostly for the good and this woman deserves what she has.

Good luck with that one Oprah! OJ is such a pathological liar I think he actually has HIMSELF convinced he didn't do it. Although his lawyer Kardashian disposed of the evidence for him, the cops totally bungled the case, the DA's were dimwits, and the judge was more interested in his next photo op than actually presiding over the trial, I think OJ is paying for those murders every second of his waking life. His all important reputation and public perception of him were destroyed, he lost his home, his posessions, the love and respect of anyone who mattered to him, and now he's sitting in a Nevada prison. Granted, it's not as satisfying as the death by lethal injection verdict he deserved, but it's not a walk in the park either. He's a ruined shell of what used to be a human being. A repulsive waste of skin killing time until he has to meet his maker. That's not going to be too much fun for him either.

      P. S. @ "J" – Who do you think you are? This is a comment/opinion forum so if someone wants to say that justice wasn't served, that's what they have every right to say and if you don't like it, that's your tough luck. We get it, you hate Oprah and you're an insufferable know it all who thinks he's smarter than anyone else in the room and has the unmitigated gall to "school" the rest of us on the finer points of the law. And for the record, most of us aren't total Oprah fans. Good grief, the woman thinks she's the second coming of Christ but she HAS done a lot of good for countless people. You can hate her all you want but you can't say she hasn't done a lot of good. Who have you helped lately?

So O.J. is going to confess to Oprah. Who does she think she is? A catholic priest? O. J. should confess his sins directly to God". Oprah is not a catholic, she sure will not confess her sin to a priest; but she sure wants O. J. to confess to her. Oprah, are you a catholic priest? or maybe You think your GOD!

oprah was charming as a talk show host. however, she needs to realize that she was but an ugly actress in a movie called 'the color purple' after which for some reason that only god can fathom, she was given a glamorous makeover and turned into america's black sweetheart. now, black celebrity vs black celebrity, she is seeking a confession from someone with the makings of o j simpson who had apparently decapitated someone he had loved and married. does oprah not value her life? or do talk show hosts not understand that there is a difference between dealing with people who are icons in society, just the regular public and those that have dealt with the devil and sold their souls to them. it is not the same thing. o j was found not guilty on the criminal count, and guilty on the civil charge. he ran for 2 hours from the law. he had all the makings of a guilty person. he is not going to 'behave' with oprah just because she is oprah. oprah needs to get off her high horse and realize that she is not god.

Something is seriously wrong with Oprah. I knew when she started all that talk about how women don't need men and that women should not deal with men that had bad credit that she was phony. Its easy to say that when your a billionaire. Then she went on to talk bad about religion and marriage. Then she went even further to say that a family and kids does not have any substance today. Now she is trying to exploit the public once more by bringing up old new and dirt. She is garbage.

@ J - you really are a pretentious know it all snot. Calling all of these folks "sheep" because they don't follow you and your brain dead arguments. News flash J, our Justice System is an imperfect *system* and not a perfected, static ideal. It is and always will be an iterative process of legislative refinement towards an ideal of judicial perfection that it will never reach. To worship it mindlessly, like you do, is just as dangerous and stupid as judging it worthless or evil. The OJ case was an example of how the system can be manipulated by big money. If that was your poor @$$ on the stand you would have been six feet under the ground, plain and simple. Same crime, same evidence, same jury, and there's not a chance in hell that you would have walked free. The OJ trial was the best "justice" money can buy.

@j bird, you're proving j's point... You're assuming that your judgement in a case you did not serve on is above the law. It may be an imperfect system but it beats judgement via know-nothings on the Internet.

Is she trying to save the face of black men who kill their wives by wanting OJ to confess? who cares? the world knows he did it and it's good enough for me. He is never going to confess. He is simply an aggressive and violent man and let it go at that Oprah. Move on to interesting topics. That one is dead in the water.
