The Throwback: Strawberry Shortcake's new BFF – Cherry Jam!Strawberry Shortcake, who recently celebrated her 30th anniversary, has a new BBFF (Berry Best Friend Forever) to jam with: Cherry Jam, that is! Debuting in the fall, Cherry Jam is the first character to be added to Strawberry Shortcake's friend list in over five years. The franchise's parent company, American Greetings Properties, says she will "inspire little girls everywhere to be themselves and follow their berry own beat." FULL POST Rob Lowe's next role: Drew Peterson“Parks and Recreation” actor Rob Lowe will take a break from his usual role - attractive leading man - to play accused wife-murderer Drew Peterson, his publicist told CNN. The project, tentatively titled “The Drew Peterson Story,” will feature Lowe as Peterson, an ex-cop jailed for drowning his third wife, Kathleen Savio. Peterson is also suspected in the disappearance of his fourth wife, 23-year-old Stacy Peterson. Lowe will star opposite “The Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco, who will play Stacy. J.J. Abrams: Sorry about 'Undercovers'J.J. Abrams has had a pretty successful career so far. "Alias" launched the career of Jennifer Garner, "Lost" was a phenomenon, "Fringe" has beaten the odds, getting picked-up for a fourth season, and his take on "Star Trek" was a massive hit in theaters. Not to mention that "Super 8" is currently the No. 1 movie in America. But there will always be that one show that didn't work out. "Undercovers" was canceled by NBC last fall after airing seven episodes (four more have aired since). Christina Aguilera: Neither of us were 'angels'Christina Aguilera addresses the rumors about whether she and/or her now ex-husband strayed during the marriage – sort of. “At one time or another, we were both not angels," the singer told W. " It got to a point where my life at home was reminding me of my own childhood. I will not have my son grow up in a tension-filled home...” "The Voice" coach has a spread in the new issue of W where she she says she has never watched an entire episode of the show's major competitor "American Idol" because "it's too mean." FULL POST Getting to know the 'SYTYCD' top 20This year's top 20 on "So You Think You Can Dance" are a highly-talented bunch, no doubt about it. Definitely one of the better groups we've seen. But by luck of the draw (literally), we didn't get to see too many of them go outside of their own styles on Wednesday night's first real performance show. I suppose if this is going to happen, it's best that it happen early on. Let's take a look at how each couple did, shall we? 'Jurassic Park 4' in the works?Dinosaurs have been extinct since 2001, when “Jurassic Park III” failed to reach the bar set by its predecessors. But now, Steven Spielberg is thinking about bringing the vertebrates back to life with a fourth installment of the pre-historic franchise, The Hollywood Reporter reported. Spielberg has allegedly been talking with Mark Protosevich, who wrote 2006’s “Poseidon,” about bringing “Jurassic Park” back to the big screen. However, according to THR, Universal Pictures says nobody has been attached to the project as of yet, and that it’s still just an idea at this point. The first film of the trilogy grossed more than $900 million worldwide, while the second, “The Lost World: Jurassic Park,” raked in more than $615 million. “Jurassic Park III,” with an estimated budget of $90 million, earned just over $360 million worldwide. Does a “Jurassic Park” reboot have a chance of succeeding after a 10-plus-year hiatus? Sound off below! Real estate of the rich and famousThere’s plenty of room for friends at Courteney Cox’s Malibu pad. The actress tells Elle Décor in the July/August issue that, after growing up with 20 first cousins and having a Sunday dinner ritual at her grandmother's house, she’s still accustomed to rounding up loved ones for weekly celebrations. Situated on two acres, the estate has guest cottages, a tennis house and court, plus a saltwater swimming pool. Playmate of the Year on the Harris-Hefner splitPlaymate Crystal Harris told Ryan Seacrest yesterday, is wasn't an argument that lead her to back out of her wedding to Hugh Hefner. It was just a case of cold feet, she says. But Playmate of the Year Clair Sinclair says there’s much more to the story. Last night, she told HLN’s Joy Behar she’s not surprised the wedding was called off. In fact, she says people were surprised this couple, who “had nothing in common” and “no chemistry,” was getting married in the first place. Sinclair went so far as to suggest Harris was using Hef to promote a music career. Could it be? While you ponder that, you can listen to Harris’ first single, “Club Queen.” Watch "The Joy Behar Show" Sunday through Friday at 10 p.m. ET on HLN. For the latest from The Joy Behar Show, click here. Kim Kardashian wants a $4600 vaseWhat do you get a reality TV star and her basketball player fiancé as a wedding gift? Either a $4,625 black vase or a $375 candy jar, if Kim Kardashian’s wedding registry is any indication. The online list, confirmed to E! as legit by Kardashian’s camp, features a variety of stemware, flatware, plates and other miscellaneous items from the upscale Gearys Beverly Hills. If you, for whatever reason, attempted to purchase everything on that list you’d be out of about $172,000. ‘Top Chef’ crowns a new MasterOne of the appealing things about “Top Chef” is the simplicity of the final challenge: cook the best meal of your life. “Masters” has taken a slight twist on that, challenging the last chefs standing to cook a meal that represents their culinary lives. But like with so much else this season, the final challenge was changed, too. Luckily, it actually worked to the show’s and the chefs’ benefit. Mary Sue, Traci and Floyd were tasked with cooking a three-course meal. The first course needed to represent their first food memory; the second course called back to the meal that inspired them to become chefs. For the third course, the chefs were each assigned a critic, and challenged to cook a dish based on the meal that inspired James Oseland, Ruth Reichl and Gael Greene to become food critics. |
