Jason Mraz and Tristan Prettyman splitLove song crooner Jason Mraz is back to being single after revealing he and fiancée Tristan Prettyman called it quits and broke off their engagement. The "I'm Yours" singer told The Daily Beast at the Samsung Hope for Children gala on Monday that he's in the midst of healing and wants to express the process through his music. "My greatest mistake right now is, I've been clinging to my art," Mraz said. "In that, I have victory for my art and a great loss for my heart." The relationship between the two singer-songwriters' was fraught with an on-again, off-again status since they split in 2006. Mraz, 33, wrote on his blog that he proposed last December to Prettyman with a 2.3-karat, custom-designed ring "by the sea under a blanket of stars and a watchful bright moon." The couple remains good friends, as Mraz informed The Daily Beast that he and 29-year-old Prettyman still do yoga together and find time to go surfing. "We acknowledge the journey that each of us is on," he said. "We certainly want each of us to feel whole and complete."

I am not a fan of his music but I will say his thing with Elmo on Sesame Street is great. My son loves it and we watch it daily... tho more for Elmo then this guy.
If you don`t have anything nice to say (or write) don`t say anything at all, and if all of you dislike Jason why are you on this site? Anyways I do happen to love his music, he is a great person, and I`m sorry for his split, but do what makes you happy!
I never say anyone's music "sucks" because art is subjective. That said, personally...I think this guys music sucks.

Mraz can sing and I love any music (only reason I posted comment). Not a fan of Mraz, more of music. Any split is sad though no matter who.
