Shania Twain confirms 2-year Vegas gigShania Twain's headed for Vegas. The singer confirmed a two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace during a press conference streamed on her website Wednesday. Twain said she thought deeply about whether or not to make the commitment before agreeing to move to Sin City. “I’ve learned how to commit myself and put that into healing rather than fear and anxiety,” said the country artist, who divorced her husband in 2010 after learning of his affair with her friend. When asked if she’s spoken to fellow Canadian Celine Dion, a Colosseum veteran, about the show, Twain said: “The last time I spoke to Celine, it was about our babies. … I consider this venture very personal. … I think Celine will be very insightful and very helpful.” So what can we expect from Twain’s “Still the One” show? “It’s early stages and it’s going to be a process, and I really don’t know what you can expect. … I’m going to make the most of this extraordinary platform. … It’s given me a huge freedom and I’m going to go nuts.” “Anything is possible at Caesars,” she added. Twain's “Still the One” show will begin on December 1, 2012.

I think people commenting on this are really jealous or just not informed.
Shania Twain can demand premium ticket prices in concerts all over the world.
But she has a child like Celine and she would rather not travel.
Ceasors at palace is the top gig you can get in all of music.
Music icons like Elton John, Celine, Cher and Shania all have or will play Ceasors.
So this is for music icons who don't want to travel anymore.
They can stay in one place and make hundreds of millions of dollars for part time work.
This is a much more special and top gig than having to travel and tour on the road.
But music icons like Shania and Elton or Celine have the power to demand this type of gig. It is the top gig you can get and you have to earn it by being a music icon who has several hits and well known songs.
The Colosseum is a great spot in Las Vegas. It's about twelve blocks from where you experts wil be doing chrystal meth in your RV.
For those who don't understand what is going on, this is your continued punishment from us Canadians. First we foisted Celine on you and now Shania. Once Bieber has lost his new car smell we'll ship him to vegas too to swoon the boozy cogars playing the nickle slots

@ Sunshine Girl, Lounge shows are free. S Twain will have her own spot at Ceasars. Tickets have to be purchased to get in. I stayed at Flamingo where Donny & Marie do shows. Tickets were just over $1OO each. (No I didn't go. Lol) I know what your saying, though!
