Reese Witherspoon slams stars who make sex tapesParis Hilton and Kim Kardashian might have been blushing as they watched Reese Witherspoon at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards. Accepting her MTV Generation award, the Oscar-winning actress slammed stars who have appeared in sex tapes and nude-photo scandals, telling them they should be ashamed of themselves. “I get it, girls, that it’s cool to be a bad girl,” the mom-of-two told the crowd. “But it is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show. When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed.” Witherspoon also appeared to have a message for "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively, who denied last week that she was the mystery blonde in a series of nude cell phone pics making the rounds on the Internet. Said Witherspoon, “And if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people! Hide your face!” The "Water for Elephants" star concluded her speech with a message of hope. “For all the girls out there, it’s totally possible to be a good girl,” she said. “I’m going to try to make it cool.” What do you think of Witherspoon's speech?

The reality shows suck and need to be taken off TV period. The Suvivor show really, really stinks. Sorry to say this, but Reese is not too hot to begin with, so it' s not so hard for these kind of girls to be "good", less temptation to fight off. In other words, turn off the crap and find something more worthwhile and, yes, rewarding to do with your respect time.

I am sad. I am discouraged. I think that no matter what I think this will go on. I think that the people who deserve notoriety and wealth, fame and love will be left in the dust of people who simply know how to manipulate, those who cheat fate, rather than who have actual talent and relate.

I'm 100% behind you but the message shouldn't be that others have done something wrong, but rather their path to fame isn't a particularly good one. The problem is not that the Paris approach is bad but rather than 99 out of 100 who try that approach will have mostly bad things come from it not fame or fortune. I have a laser plotter that I use in my home office that can plot color images up to 60" wide, and basically make a poster size copy. I print out a lifesize image of various female celebs and lay it on the floor and proceed to spooge, pisz, shyte all over them. It's very gratifying.

Kudos to Reese for standing up for morals and values in a society where we seem to have forgotten what those are! We need more stars like her as role models for our children. While parenting starts at home, it certainly gets an assist from the outside world and in particular, the entertainment and sports industries along with the political arena. No one is saying she doesn't have the right to voice her opinion but in my opinion, which I also have the right to voice, it was bad timing entirely. It doesn't make her any better of a person because someone else made decisions in their past that they may or may not regret, just like it doesn't make her any worse. I'm sure her team as well as Reese, herself, expects some negative feedback because she was condemning.

Today while shopping at a neighborhood grocery store I was looking at the covers of the magazines by the checkstands. 90 percent were of women with little on and with big boobs. Even magazines not devoted to nudity had undressed women. Are these women posing to please themselves, other women, or men? I always thought that Boobs are for Babies. Women who get breast enhancements cannot nurse babies.

I think the point is that these other individuals need to understand the power that their celebrity has on society and our young people. I am a life long fan of Reese, all movies, especially starting in her 90's movies.............but this is too much. She has now turned into a prima donna diva, and its sad. For such a beautiful, extremely talented actress, she has passed the boundaries of etiquette by trashing most of the trash in Hollyweird.....Someone that intelligent and with such grace would never direct deragatory comments to others in the same business as them – especially on Live TV. And if she did get married to cover up the pregnancy – think of it this way – she's not a bad girl. Getting pregnant out of wedlock, then getting married isn't anywhere near as "bad girl" style as people would think. Actually, since it so rare these days it would be considered a "good girl" thing to do.
I am not saying I'm innocent, as I had a child out of wedlock but I definitely don't exploit myself in any manner. And I'd give the same message. You can still be a "good girl" and make these sorts of mistakes.

Judging others is exactly the dark side-effect of all that fluffy love religion we all soak up. Sure it's all about loving people, and taking care of them, but it gives implicit permission to judge one another. If god wanted you to judge one another, he should have provided some evidence so that judgments are based on absolutes. But a single life in this world will quickly show you there are no absolutes, and religion is truly based on blind faith.
