Russell Brand deported from JapanThere's a good reason Russell Brand wasn't cheering on wife Katy Perry as she performed in Japan over the weekend—he was too busy getting kicked out of the country. "So… my husband just got deported from Japan," the singer, who is currently touring Asia, wrote on Twitter on May 22. "I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place #tokyodreamscrushed." Though Perry added, "It was for priors from over 10 years ago!" she didn't specify what Brand's offenses were, according to Billboard. Meanwhile, Brand kept his sense of humor about the situation. "Planning escape from Japanese custody," he tweeted. "It's bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick." While Perry may have been upset about Brand's deportation, she didn't let it affect her performance. "But of COURSE I ♥ my Japanese fans & the show #MUSTGOON no matter the daily aftershocks or husband kidnappings! #it'snotrightbutit'sokay," she wrote. Then, referring to Brand's Twitter handle, she added, "#FREE@RUSTYROCKETS! RT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I am of the opposite opinion of the majority of these comments. I think Mr. Brand is hilarious, and that Katy Perry's music is terrible, and unoriginal. Also, is being a comedian not "doing something for other people"? I mean, sure you make money, but I think making people laugh is one of the most important things you can do for them.

Because if you don't like some actor, singer, comedian, writer, etc. with a successful career does that mean you're "jealous" of them? They probably saw one of his films. They're offensive enough to warrant deportation.
He was hilarious in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and his character was interesting enough to give him his own movie, Get Him to the Greek, which was seriously awesome. P. Diddy and Jonah Hill obviously co-starred with him so he wasn't alone, but the only 2 movies I've seen him in were great. In comedy, you don't have to be able to perform a tearjerking emotional scene or represent any significant character or role to be considered talented. All you have to do is make your audience laugh, and those 2 movies did it for me.
I'm not dumb enough to see any movie called Arthur. Whether it's about the Arthur cartoon, a remake of a movie I've seen a million remakes of, or a biography of President Chester A. Arthur. Greedy guy has rich relative, rich relative makes greedy guy jump through hoops to get money, hilarity ensues. Been there, done that. If you didn't know better, lesson learned now.
