Timothy Hutton is about to be four seasons into playing a con man, but he says it hasn't made him a better bluffer in real life.
"No, no I don't think so," Hutton said laughing. "Fortunately so because I think if one tried to pull that in real life, it wouldn't work."
Hutton is back this summer with his TNT series "Leverage," in which he plays Nate Ford, the head of a merry band of thieves and grifters who use their skills for good. (TNT is owned by the same parent company as CNN.) Ford is complex and a bit of a dark character – an alcoholic who, when the series opened, had lost his job as an insurance investigator, his wife and his son.
