Chris Brown leads BET Awards nominationsThe BET Awards honors the top performers in music, acting and sports, and this year a singer leads the nominations. "Look At Me Now" singer Chris Brown has garnered six nominations including best male R&B artist, two nominations for best collaboration, video of the year, best actor and Coca-Cola viewers’ choice. Rapper Lil Wayne follows close behind with five nominations including video of the year, best male hip-hop artist, best collaboration, and two Coca-Cola viewers’ choice nominations. Rihanna, Drake and Kanye West are tied with four nominations each. The BET Awards will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on June 26 on BET. |

I wonder does the msnbc series lockup has it wrong since everybody on blogs says 80% of prison inmates are black. On the show they travel to prisons and interview inmates. It looks to me the population is 50-50 but you all say other wise.
I think that it is great for Chris Brown to make a come back. His career is about music not about his personal life. I do not condone his behaviour and he does need some anger management classes and maybe a little time out of the spot light to work on himself. He is young and he has the opportunity to change.....He definately should take a more active role in advocating the stopping of domestic abuse and maybe people would think he was more serious and sorry about the events that transpired.

Congrats to him!! I hear his music everywhere now, which is a far cry from last year. His song Dueces was #1 for 10 weeks and his album was #1 as well. America knows what they want! Well deserved, his talent is undeniable and I can't wait to tune in to see his performance. Congrats to all the nominees this will be a must-see.

Why am I not surprised that he's up for a BET award?? Anyone who voted for him basically says that domestic violence is OK, if you say sorry, and then dance around and fake cry to a MJ song, while making high pitch noises that sounded like whales mating while stomping on the ground and pounding your chest. Whenever I cry I need to use my entire arm to wipe the tears away... PLEASE.
