Matthew Morrison to sing original song on 'Glee'The season finale of "Glee" will get a small assist from "American Idol." Matthew Morrison, who portrays glee club adviser Will Schuester on "Glee," will sing a song from his new album, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Morrison, who is releasing his self-titled debut on Tuesday, will sing “Still Got Tonight” – a song co-written by "Idol" season 8 winner Kris Allen. Morrison told THR that after he asked "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy if he could sing the original tune, Murphy made some changes to the script. “It was going to be just a big dance piece with me doing this big dance number,” Morrison said. “But they said, ‘We want you to sing it and make it a big moment.’" Murphy said the song worked for what the show's producers were considering for the episode. “It’s about aspiration,” Murphy said. “It worked because we wanted to do a scene where Matt goes into a Broadway hall and sings something alone. Plus, Matt is such a great team player and he’s done so much for different 'Glee' charities.” The "Glee" season finale will air on May 24.

Looking forward to this. I bought the song last week and I really like it. I have Kris Allen's CD and love it. Kris is a really good songwriter and Matt's voice blends beautifully with this song.

Love the song, but then I've been very impressed with all the songs that Kris Allen has had a hand in writing. Downloaded it last week.
