You know it's a wild episode of "The Big Bang Theory" when Sheldon's creation of a bizarre three-person chess game is the least crazy thing to happen.
Thursday night's show continued to hint at some sort of reconciliation between Penny and Leonard in the not-too-distant future. Or at the very least, a breakup between Leonard and Priya.
This time, Amy Farrah Fowler decided to assist Penny in getting revenge on Priya for an innocuous remark about Penny's struggling acting career, with Bernadette playing the role of a spy, while on a double date.
I've found that certain things are always funny no matter what, and one of them is Bernadette getting upset. Her panic-turned-anger when her story about Penny's acting career fell apart is one of the funniest things of the season. Unfortunately, her plan didn't succeed and she gave up on her mission (though it certainly revealed that Leonard still had some feelings for Penny).
Then there was the uproarious sight of Raj losing all of his clothes in a coffee shop after an experimental anti-anxiety medication works all too well. Obviously, it's back to the drawing board for him, when it comes to speaking to women while sober.
Despite these great moments, my favorite came at the very end, where Sheldon's creation of the "serpent and old woman" chess piece was only the beginning. Apparently three-person chess involves a teleportation pad, a golf cart, a time machine and a jet pack. I have a feeling someone out there is going to figure this out and put the rules online.
In Sheldon-chess terms, this episode "released the swarm." What did you think? Share your iReport or comment below.
