Ask Kristen Wiig to do anything – except break out two of her “Saturday Night Live” characters.
According to Time, Wiig has put “Penelope the one-upper” and “Gilly the schoolgirl” on permanent hiatus. Not even the show's executive producer Lorne Michaels, could get her to bring them back out.
And although we know it’s not because she’s shy about embodying the crazy characters, it would be understandable if you thought as much – apparently Wiig is quite reserved.
Perhaps the “Wife Swap” well has begun to run a little dry, because ABC is upping the ante with a star-filled edition called "Celebrity Wife Swap."
According to Deadline, this version of the show will also ask its celebrity couples “to switch lifestyles for a week."
ABC has apparently ordered six episodes, with casting underway.
The First Lady of the United States was recently bitten by a dancing bug.
As we reported earlier, singer Beyonce reworked her song "Get Me Bodied" as part of Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" campaign to combat childhood obesity. On Tuesday, both the singer and the First Lady appeared at schools in New York and Washington, D.C., respectively to witness students performing the choreographed routine from the song's music video, "Move Your Body," which incorporates dance with exercise.
Mrs. Obama proved that she can rock with the best of them as she went through several dance moves, including The Running Man and The Dougie. We think she gives Wolf Blitzer a run for his money - dance-off, anyone?
Looks like a certain "Jersey Shore" star has gotten himself into a whole new situation.
Following in the footsteps of housemates Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is developing his own spinoff for MTV. The former "Dancing With the Stars" competitor will shoot a pilot for his solo show sometime later this year, a rep for the network tells CNN.
"I'm excited to continue my relationship with MTV, which has been home for me for the last couple of years," Sorrentino told industry publication Variety. "I'm really grateful for all the support from my fans. Hopefully, there will be plenty more situations in the future."
He's played a pirate, a candymaker, a mad hatter and a boy with scissorhands, but could Johnny Depp play a rock star? We may find out, if Steven Tyler gets his way.
The Aerosmith frontman tells Billboard he would want the actor to play him in a movie based on his new autobiography, "Does The Noise in My Head Bother You?: A Rock 'n' Roll Memoir."
Though a biopic isn't in the works just yet, Billboard wondered which star could best capture Tyler's charisma.
Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband Jesse James is on a wild media tour this week, talking openly about the details of his split from his Oscar-winning wife.
In his new memoir, “American Outlaw,” James reveals very personal details about how he admitted his affair to Sandra and watched helplessly as she broke down in sobs.
Here's what we're asking today: Why is James writing about such private stuff? Is he just trying to make a buck? James tells ABC’s "Good Morning America" today, “I can’t worry about her anymore… it’s time to make sure I’m happy.”
