President Barack Obama can't seem to get away from being connected to Donald Trump lately.
Then on Sunday night, the president's speech announcing the death of Osama Bin Laden interrupted the airing of Trump's reality show, "The Celebrity Apprentice," on the East Coast.
Entertainment Weekly reports that NBC, which airs the program, joined fellow networks ABC and CBS in cutting away from their regularly scheduled programming for the speech.
According to the publication, NBC then returned to its local affiliates' news programs on the East Coast, while on the West Coast the speech only delayed the episode of "Celebrity Apprentice."
One of NBC's late night hosts, Jimmy Fallon, tweeted, "Got Bin Laden AND interrupted Celebrity Apprentice? Win for Obama all around."
